Hi everyone! I wrote in a LONG time ago-on the first day we could book the cruise-but have been in transition ever since-just moved back to the States from London!

Anyway, today is our 90 Day mark from going to WDW (prior to the cruise)but we have no hotel ressies on the first night yet-so we couldn't book our ADR's until tomorrow!! oops....does anyone know which All Stars was recently renovated? We are thinking of staying there-we move over to our DVC at Kidani on Saturday Sep 5th staying at the world all week until we head down for the cruise!!!

Can' t wait!!!!

Welcome back to the States and to the board! I can't help you with the questions about All Stars. Hopefully, someone else may know. We will be staying in Kidani for two days after the cruise.

Good morning everyone - happy Sunday!

We had a busy day yesterday. Spent the whole morning and into the afternoon at the Museum of Science and Industry on the south side of Chicago. They have a Harry Potter exhibit that is here until end of September. We bought our tickets back in December!

It was fantastic if you are a fan of books and especially the movies. Lots of costumes and props. That took about 45 minutes and the rest of the day we toured the museum including a German U-boat they have (the only one on US soil). It had been captured on June 4, 1944. Two days before D-Day which was yesterday.

So today after Mass we are going to do our grocery shopping and then later I head out to lunch with Flo.

I am so Jealous, Have a great visit.

Well, just to bring you up to date. It has been a busy weekend. DD and family have been in town. DSIL was in in 18 wheeler driver safety competetion yesterday. Driving the 5 axel division, and won first place for the state and will now compete in August in pittsburg for national I am very proud of him.

and now for my double digit dance Sooooooo Happpy

Grand kids have been with me since Thursday. Mom and Dad are comming for them later this morning, I have had them here since Thursday. Friiday took DGD1 for a pedicure and manicure..Her first And then took them all to the Magic house for the afternoon (childrens Museum) on Saturday, We spent the morning watching daddy compete. and the afternoon was swimming.

When DD comes she will take all but one with her. I am keeping DGS age 12. He is staying to help with DH after his surgery, so I can go to work while he is home recovering.

If you ever get up this way let us know. We could try to get together. I never get tired of looking at scrapbooks.

GOod luck to your DH on his knees surgery. Let us know how it went when you get a chance.

Sounds like you had a busy few days, but it also sounds like you had a great time.

Wow, I feel so far behind. I haven't been on the boards since last Monday.

Anyways, it was a crazy week. I went down to Manssas VA for 1/5 days for work and then had my sister, Patty, and the kids over for the weekend. To top it all off, my laptop decided to act up this past week along with my garmin just 2 weeks before vacation! So it was off of Best Buy last night to buy a new laptop and Garmin. I can't believe that we have broken the 100 day mark.

Hi everyone - had a great DIS meet today with Flo. We had a very nice waitress at TGI Friday's who let us order drinks and just look at our books for a good half hour or more before we ordered. I really enjoyed sharing my books with Flo and seeing her books. For 2006 we had the same book design but in different sizes. Flo even brought me a gift she got at Doorway to Dreams.

If anyone else makes their way to the Chicago area let us know as we'd love to get together again.
