"Hello? I'm in the Carousel of Progress.."*UD1/13pg74"All Good Things...*

Great photopass pictures!!! I can't wait to get the rest of mine. :headache: Glad you got your technical issues all worked out.

That's so great that they have photopass photographers at BB. It wouldn't have occurred to me that they would be there and I probably wouldn't have brought my camera there if we had gone. Great to know for next time!! :thumbsup2

I got a little knot in the pit of my stomach when I read you couldn't open your pictures.:scared1: I'm so glad your hubby helped resolve that issue quickly.:thumbsup2

I love your pictures also. The EE ones are beautiful. In fact, I really like all of your AK pics.:) And your BB pics. And your MK pics.......

Good morning Amy!

I didn't know they had photographers at the waterparks either! I did take my camera and got a few shots, but the pictures ON the slides and in the Lazy River are shots I never would have had. It was funny to be floating in your tube and see a guy with a camera covered in plastic standing in the water! LOL! It sold me on the CD though, so good for them for thinking of it!! :thumbsup2

I love the AK "claw" one very cute...and yes the ones in front of EE are great too, plus nice family group TINK one.

The BB ones are cool too....I don't think they had all the PP stuff they do know back in 05, I would have loved to see me flying down the plumit...don't know if I'd do it again....

Can't wait to see the rest!

And thanks for the link posting instructions....I have copied it into Word so I can print it and study it and try it out....most likely it will be me asking DH to help me....I think at this point 1/2 way thru my TR....I will wait and try it out w/ the next PTR late this year.

and too bad we live like 3 big states away from each other...I'd love to SCRAP Disney w/ you....that would be so FUN! :thumbsup2

The pictures turned out beautiful! Your boys are very photogenic; your entire family is. Looking forward to the next update!

Your Photopass pictures turned out so nice! The AK ones are cute, but I LOVE the Donald ones too. I have never wanted to do Photopass but the candid ones they took turned out so great. Maybe I will try it this time...

My favourite picture is the Lilo one - your son's face is absolutely priceless! Ewwww, girl germs! :lmao:

It saves money if you pre-order, but I really felt better about seeing what I had before I spent any money on it. I'm glad I bought it though. I plan to get my money's worth by making gifts, etc.

My favourite picture is the Lilo one - your son's face is absolutely priceless! Ewwww, girl germs! :lmao:

LOL! I love that too! FUNNY!

Hey Missy! :goodvibes Sorry I've been MIA for so long. Things are finally starting to calm down a bit around here and I'm trying to get caught up!

I read all of your updates and am loving them. :thumbsup2 Omar sounds like so much fun! We had a great time at TSI too. Can't wait to post pictures.

We ate at Pecos Bills on our 2nd trip and ended up eating outside. It was much nicer and quieter that way (but it was evening and getting dark so not hot).

Please don't apologize! You silly girl! You just moved your whole family to a new state!! :worship: I'm just glad all went well and you are back!

Looking forward to seeing you TSI pics...we had a blast there! And Omar was a HOOT!

Eating outside at Pecos Bills would probably have been a better idea...but it was hot and CROWDED and there were no tables outside that Jeff and Dan could see. Maybe next time!

With the happy sounds of the parade moving off in the distance, we made our way out of the Old West onto the busy sidewalks of Main Street USA.

Background....

Isaiah hates getting a haircut. I can’t explain it, I’m not sure what his issue is, but it’s a fight to get him to the chair every time! Now he doesn’t cry and fuss..he IS 12 you know!..but he does complain the whole way there about what’s to come. It’s not fun...for any of us! :headache: So.....we thought maybe he would be a better sport about it if we let him get it cut on Main Street at Harmony Barber Shop. He was given the choice before we left of getting it cut before the trip or waiting till our MK day. He chose the Main Street barber shop! :cool1: Cool....I was hoping he would because I thought it would be a neat experience. The only drawback was that MK wasn’t till the Wednesday of our trip and his hair was a little unruly :scared1:...but we managed!

On our way into the MK in the morning, we had stopped by the Barber Shop, but the line was fairly long...as expected. You can’t make appointments there so it is first come, first served. And you have to wait...no leaving your name and coming back. We had figured most people would try to catch it as they entered the park so we weren’t surprised by the line. We just put it on the back burner and decided to try it after the parade when a lot of people were headed OUT of the park.

IT WORKED! :thumbsup2 When we got to the little shop there were only 2 people in front of us. The shop is tucked in the corner of Main Street, adjacent to the Fire House. Very cute! It’s literally a hole in the wall and only has two barber’s chairs and a VERY small waiting area. In fact, the waiting area is more for the family of the person getting their haircut than for actual waiting. We stood in line outside.

The little girl in front of us was getting her VERY first hair cut...how fun! :cutie: As soon as she got hoisted up in the chair she started screaming, NO, NO, NO! The CM didn’t even bat an eyelash, but started putting Mickey Mouse stickers all over the little girl’s clothes. She kept taking them off, but not as fast as the CM was putting them on! She was so distracted by the stickers that the CM was able to begin the haircut...then she handed the little girl a bottle of bubbles and that was all she wrote! She cut that little princess’ hair lickety split! Amazing! If only the local Supercuts employee was so smart! The little girl got a cute little pair of Mickey ears that said, My First Haircut on the back. Awwww...I melted! :cloud9:

After about a 20 minute wait, it was Isaiah’s turn. He got up in the chair and made small talk with our CM barber. She was very friendly and engaged all of us in conversation as she cut Isaiah’s hair.

Isaiah did not want and colored gel in his hair, but he did want the pixie dust...I was kind of surprised, but thrilled! She sprayed his hair with what I can only imagine was some spray gel and proceeded to “dust him up!” Too cute!

Apparently pixie dust is FREE, so Jonah wanted some too. I LOVE IT! I wanted some too, but figured that might be silly! :rotfl:

The experience at the Barber Shop was AWESOME and cost exactly the same as a haircut from the local Supercuts. NOT a bad deal! The atmosphere, the CM, the pixie dust....icing on the cake! ;)

Here are my two Barber Shop boys!

And this picture just makes me happy! :) :) :) :)

It was time for some Adventure...and a Dole Whip! Coming up NEXT!

Oh how fun to get your haircut at Disney World!! I'll have to keep that in mind about the 1st haircut thing for Claire. That would be so special!! In the meantime, we're still working on GROWING hair!! :rotfl2:

I was several pages behind in your report. Sorry! I have a good excuse though, I started a trip report of my own. We surprised our son, Hunter, with a WDW vacation last August and I decided to share the story with my Dis friends.

Anyway....What is it with boys and haircuts? Hunter (who just turned 12) never wants to get a haircut. I mean NEVER. He knows that he has to get his hair cut before going on vacation. Maybe I'll use your trick....get it cut on Main Street.

Hi Missy, great update! Isaiah looks great with his new haircut and what a magical experience. I love that they gave Jonah pixie dust too.:goodvibes

Oh, the balloons make me happy too.:cloud9: I can't wait to see them in person.:yay:

Glad the haircut went well! :thumbsup2 I love the balloon pic...we took some with photopass while we were in mk in jan. Can't wait to hear more!

That trick worked like a charm..I highly recommend it!

What a fanastic idea to get a haircut at WDW! :goodvibes I'll bet I can talk all my menfolk into that! Oh, and I'll be getting some of that pixie dust! :rotfl: Did it really cost the same as Supercuts? So, like $10? :confused3

Isaiah looks sooo handsome, as do all of your boys! pirate:
