Hey, just wanted to say I've really enjoyed your trip report.

I loved that story about Parker laughing at the lady who was upset in the airport. I can just imagine the tension that got broken at that moment. Only a baby could get away with that!

Chapter 40. The final thoughts part 1

This is not really a final thoughts chapter more of an informational chapter for you guys, since i kinda stopped post the pictures of the trading cards early on i felt bad that you guys did not get to see all of them, so i am going to post the rest of them now for you to enjoy.

sorry i did not finish this as i was going through, but i was lazy and did not take the time to do it...so without further adu and for your viewing pleasure, we have the rest of the trading cards in order.

some of the facts are pretty neat so i hope you enjoy.

i have pictures of half of hte stuff we got from the trip, and will take pics of the rest of it for the next chapter, also i have to take a picture of the prize i won from a another DIser and her trivia game. and the puzzle she found for me nad picked up that i could not find

the next chapter will have the plans for future trips and what we are up to this summer stay tuned and i hope i dont loss anyone before this is really finished up.

i just looked back at the cards, well allbe, donalds middle name is fauntleroy! just kidding, i found that out many a trips ago from a CM trying to stump a boat full of guests with trivia, and never forgot it sense then.

i tried for plan old fauntleroy as my screen name, but someone had it.

no problem, 2 trips ago, when i was on the monorail on our last night, it was us and a dad and her girl waiting for the front car...well the CM working asked us if we wanted a trading card, and we got to pick one out of a group of them...well this got me thinking we boarded the nose went to the TTC and transfered to the Mk monorail, while waiting for the nose again, with the same dad and girl again, i asked the CM working there if he had any trading cards for us and our new friends he said hold on a sec...and gave each of us 3 sets of the monorail ones...the boat ones you can get from boat captains that travel around the MK resorts, and the bus ones you just have to ask the drivers, i was not able to get any boat ones they never had any, but my mom got those for me, but it was hit or miss with the bus drivers if they had any or not, the best was to ask when you could tell they were ocming on shift.

oohh and for the extra 2 sets of monorail cards that i had, i thought that i would pass on the disney magic that night, well back at our resort i thought that some younger boys like age 7ish would think they would be really cool, so we found some eating with there parents in the food court, so we went up to them and were all excited and were like hey, look at these really cool disney trading cards of the monorails they have, i have some extra ones do you want em...

there reaction oh thanks, like mom this is so 6 year old stuff, and took them, i wanted to smack those kids and take em back but just left, not the reacation i was expecting at all, now i wish i would have kept them and not been nice to others that night.
stupid ungrateful kids in disney, prop complained the whole time to there parents too.

Chapter 41. Final thoughts part 2.

I am very bored right now, waiting for the weekend to get here for a long weekend and a day off work...i love holidays.

I have half of the things we bought photographed, but did not want to leave everyone hanging over a long weekend, so i will share some plans for this summer and our next couple of disney trips.

Starting off this summer, this weekend, going to zoo in chicago,
next weekend, starting off the camping season...

4 more weekend camping trips to state parks,

a 5 day trip in july for candis birthday too 2 state parks in the south.

a 9 day trip to michigan with a few days in travers city, (can you say about 30 wineries) and a week in mackinaw island camping

then 3 trips this fall to camp grounds.

that pretty much wraps up the summer camping season,

then we have our big trip down south.

we are leaving on christmas day to head to Miami FL for a few days to see the sister in law from this trip, a few days on the gulf coast at my grandparents, maybe a day in key west, still thinking about that one...then 3 days in ATL at my aunts house


the most important thing you want to hear about is the next trip right?

Since we have so much to do the rest of this year, all the way till new years, our trip will be coming up fast.

Our next trip is going to be great...

When:
We will be going in June, the dates are still up in the air some, but will more than likely be leaving on June 3rd and comeing back on June 19th.

Where:
staying at fort wilderness with my parents in there trailer..it has a ton of room so that will be nice...there are 2 bathrooms so we will have our own in the back of the trailer as well as 2 sets of bunk beds in the back for us 3 to sleep on so we will have our own room as well.

Why:
we love fort wilderness i grew up staying there and would stay there every stay if i could...now that we got a trailer of our own, we will more than likely be staying there on our future visits as well.

we will leave on that thursday when my mom gets out of school and travel for a few hours then camp the night, then take our time traveling for the next 2 days and stop about an hour and half away from disney, we will roll into the camp ground bright and early.

i think the total number of full disney days will be 13 and we will be gone for 18 total days.


then the rest of 2010 we will just take smaller weekend camping trips,

spring of 2011, candis parents are taking us to hawaii, for a week i am still trying to talk candi into stopping in LA for a few days on the way home and going to disney land, but she said it would feel like she was cheating on disneyworld...but i still might win this one...that fall in october, we might take the trailer down to key west for a few days and stop in disney on the way home, we have not decided yet we will see how things are going and when we have our next little one and how old they are at the time.

fast forward to 2012, our next one would be over 1 year old at that time in the fall, so we are going to take our own trailer to disney and go for 2 full weeks just relaxing and having fun enjoying the lighter side of disney.

so there you have it, disney for the next 3 years and what we are planning.

image, it took me almost 6 months to write a TR for this week trip, i wonder if i can drag out the next trip to a full year TR since the total trip will be over 2 weeks.

wow...you have a lot of trips to look forward too! DO you have like 5 weeks of vacation or something...thats a lot of time off! Are you sure your not English?? When we took our honeymoon to St Lucia...there were a ton of ENglish people there and they couldn;t believe we were only there for one week?? THey take at least 2 week trips!

Dan we are going to FW from Nov 25th until Dec 5th, well it might be cut down a little because of $$$$ but anyway I would love to stay there in our own camper. We're renting a 5th wheel from someone from the DIS boards. I'm so excited. Next year planning another trip as well from Dec 3rd to Dec 7th. Can't wait to see all your goodies you guys bought. Sounds like you have alot of great plans, Dan! You're like me - I usually have the next couple of years all planned out for vacations. Then when something else comes up, I say no, cuz we are alreaday maxed out!

So, you're camping folk huh??? My DH wishes I enjoyed camping more. We camped as kids all the time, but as I've gotten older I've realized that I don't like bugs or dirt. You're future plans look like a lot of fun! We're planning on June of next year too!! Maybe we'll be there at the same time??

Candi: My one word of advice to disneyland - GO!

Its not cheating. I live in WDW but it was really special to walk around Walt's original park. Also there are upgrades coming to California Adventure (Carsland) that you might be able to go see as well.

Its not cheating. I live in WDW but it was really special to walk around Walt's original park. Also there are upgrades coming to California Adventure (Carsland) that you might be able to go see as well.

I second that! DL is different, and yet the same in many ways! It is only 2 parks, but most of the rides are there, some with different names. It has it's own feel, and some things are better. There aren't as many places to eat in the park, but there are tons of restaurants and hotels withing walking distance. You can do both parks in 3 days. You don't need transportation, because you can walk between the two, and DTD in just a short walk.

There are lots of things to do there - Huntington Beach is 20 min. away - a true Calif. beach - not the same as the East coast.

Who knows? You may even meet one of us there!
