I agree, its some of the best I've experienced.I am not sure why you are "freaked-out" about the bus system, but I will tell you that CSR has the BEST bus service!

Due to an unexpected situation with DH's job, we are unable to travel on our original dates Feb. 28-March 1. The only dates available for us at CSR are Jan 24-Feb.1. I took a leap of faith and changed. I'm nervous that I only have a week to plan! I was able to switch our dining reservations. Anyone else ever plan a trip on short notice?

We just got back from our first trip staying at CSR, and I have to say I loved it! Don't freak out about the busses - for the first time, we used the busses and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for one! We were in Casitas 4, near Bus Stop #2, which was great for drop-off. Going to the parks, we were often at Bus Stop #1 after getting coffee & pastries at Pepper Market.
I faxed the request for a renovated room, but didn't get one. But we did get queen beds. Our waterview was of the lake; unfortunately, there was a large tree in front of the window. But walking out of the room was a beautiful view.
We spent some time at both the quiet pools and the Dig Site. The slide was fun and the pool is, too. It was a great place to relax.
Mousekeeping was fine, room always straightened, beds made, sufficient supplies/towels. No complaints.
All the cast members we met were friendly and helpful.
We only had two issues: 1) since we weren't on the meal plan, we found Pepper Market a bit expensive. Pastries sold at the parks for $2.75 were $4.15 at PM. We shared a 1/2 chicken for $15 - it was good, but too expensive. So we didn't eat there too often.
2) We switched from POP to CSR after a one-night stay. When we got back to the room around 11, our bags had not yet been delivered. We had to wait until about 11:30, and we were tired.
Other than that, it was a great stay. And I booked a bounceback in September, back to CSR!
Thanks, Buzz & everyone else.
Yes, the lifejackets are located at the main pool.Hey Buzz, do you know if there are life vests at the pools for little swimmers? I remember that POFQ had them when we were there in '01 and my eldest was 6 then (eek!). He went down the slide confidently with that on.
Yes, WiFi and high speed internet cost $9.95 for 24 contiguous hours. This applies to all WDW resorts that offer these services.Hi All,
We are a family of four considering CSR for week in June. Did I read correctly that there is a $10 mandatory daily charge for internet acess and toll call usage? Do other resorts do this as well?
Thanks!
Thanks Buzz for your quick response! So you pay for it only if you use it? It's not a mandatory charge, am I understanding correctly?
btw, your website is wonderful. It certainly got DH's attention for this resort!

We just changed our reservation from the Poly to Coronado for Sept. Does anyone know if the room rehabs will be complete by then? We're hoping to fall in love with a moderate. It seems to be everyone's favorite...
I'll try...Hello Buzz, Kathy, and all CSR fans! My family and I were at CSR this past May and LOVED it. We are currently booked to stay at the Pop Century this coming May....but I am really missing CSR! I need you guys to talk me into an upgrade! I think it will be around $350 to upgrade to CSR, but I am considering it. My children thought the POP looked like fun, but now even they are thinking about it.
