Just had to tell you... I was just scrolling back to the top of the page and I stopped to take a good look at the GQ cover of Mr. Phelps and ....yeow! I dated a guy in HS who sorta resembles a slightly less attractive, definitely skinnier version of Michael Phelps! Too funny!

Hi Jen! I figured if you're a Marcette, I need to get to know ya! So I jumped on over here. I've only gotten to "Episode 5" when NDH handed you your "invitation".

Here's what I have to say:

I spent a summer working for Yellowstone Nat'l Park, out of the north entrance of Gardiner, MT. During that time I fell in LOVE with Grizzly Bears and as a result am HOOOOOORRRRRIIIFFFFIIIIIIEEEEDDDD that NDH killed one!

HOWEVER, I think I can forgive him because it was unbelievably sweet that your going to Disney was his idea and that your mom came to visit, that's just awesome. What a sweetheart!

And I love that you guys had a quick courtship & marriage - so did MY DH and I! Ours was 1 month though... but anyway... we'll be married 7 years on the 14th!!! So short engagements CAN last!

Can't wait to read more- but it'll have to wait till later, gotta take DD to school!

Ohhh...thank you so much for stopping by and I love hearing testimonies about short engagements and lasting marriage...yes I agree they can last and thank you for sharing. BTW Congrats on the 14th to 7 years...that is amazing!!!

Yes he can be a sweetheart and I'll forgive him for leaving me...he has become a lot easier to deal with when I'm not trying to get him to go to Disney with me...turns out he is completely cool with me going as long as he doesn't have to go.

Oh yes....after the trip with him (good thing I didn't know about DIS and TRs back then LOL) its much safer that until we have children that he goes hunting and I go to Disney LOL!
