Until Next Time!!!

Jen... that is amazing.... very impressive!!!:worship: :worship:

I suggest buying 4x6 photo lamination sheets. Those worked wonders. I was able to shrink my type small enough so they weren't too bulky and there was no cutting of the laminating sheets. Because you know if I cut them crooked I would have to do them again. :lmao: Also another tip, I used the luggage size laminating sheets to laminate my LGMH's. Those ones I did end up cutting down though to be the shape of the LGMH. :thumbsup2 Not that I am obsessive or anything. :rolleyes1

Ooohh...great ideas...thank you for sharing.

THANK YOU!!! Coming from someone as amazingly creative as you I'm very honored!!

WARNING: We break into this Disney World Trip PTR to Now Bring you Something Completely Different (yes this is a shout-out to all you Monty Python fans out there LOL). Someday remind me to tell you how Monty Python is responsible for my marriage!!!

Do you guys realize how close Thanksgiving is...I have a huge meal at our church for Thanksgiving on MONDAY, seriously MONDAY!! Thankfully I only signed up to bring rolls and fruit salad (which is way easy to make and OH so yummy LOL). Okay, as a teacher I have to tell you guys that my students are restless and if we all survive until next Tuesday it will be a miracle! So how does one keep their sanity or if you’re me your insanity?? Well for me...you find your favorite Christmas song and dance around your house in your Santa hat and socks with bells on them, completely freaking out your kitties (it’s quite amusing), break out the caramel corn recipe and most likely scar my husband for the rest of his natural life (the fact that he puts up with my Disney OCD is a miracle, pile that on top of my favorite Christmas song...let’s just say this man is a saint). So I just know you must all be asking yourself whatever could be a Biology/Zoology teacher’s favorite Christmas song...well LET me share it with you. Man if I could figure out how to insert music on here we’d have a party people LOL!

I WANT A HIPPOPATUMUS FOR CHRISTMAS (Written by John Rox/ Performed by Gayla Peevey)

If you have never heard this song, please do some research go listen to it, IT IS FANTASTIC!!

Alright, you didn’t come here to read about my many neuroses so let’s talk Disney!!! Since I’m in the mood to share with you favorites why don’t I tell you about a few favorites of mine at Disney. Let’s start with favorite ride! Without a doubt my favorite ride is The Haunted Mansion. Yes, I belong to a site dedicated to this ride entirely. I have downloaded on my I-Pod one of the tales behind the haunting of the Haunted Mansion and the story of the bride and her captain. This version was done very well by the daughter of one of the imagineers who worked on the ride; it is chilling to your soul. I’m all set to be the 1000th ghost to live there, shoot, let’s be honest I’ll be the 1st non-dead person to live there if they let me. Yes, people, I do plan on asking if they can just let me stay in Haunted Mansion…I can sleep next to the coffin guy no problem LOL!!! I have the music for Haunted Mansion and often at night as I explore the DIS boards it can often be heard playing in my headphones. It is safe to say that one the main highlights of my trip will be the tour of the Haunted Mansion and my midnight ride at Haunted Mansion. That’s right, I will be riding the Haunted Mansion at midnight…nothing is cooler than that.

Another favorite of mine at EPCOT is Spaceship Earth. Okay, I know it’s not the most exciting ride at EPCOT, but seriously I’m a nerd and when you mix Science and History together you have a two thumbs up production for me LOL!! That and I really like to find the Hidden Mickeys in there. I also love Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom and if I get the chance I want to ride it when it gets dark! I just might get my chance this year so we’ll have to see. Through all the January hour changes that have occurred the only one that changed for me was that Animal Kingdom, which is now open on my day until 8pm…I was planning on heading back to Magic Kingdom for Late hours early that day, but I might just stay in AK for a night-time ride of EE. This opportunity sounds almost too good to pass up. I’ve also just discovered my love for DHS and its thrill rides so I’m excited to go back on those with my eyes open LOL!!

This brings me to my next topic of discussion…does it really count if you ride the whole ride with your eyes closed? In my book….NOPE!!! So this trip is about making it through the thrillers with my eyes open so I can brag that I was brave enough to ride these rides, and to top it off I’ll get to say I did them alone WOOOT!!!! So I have to admit to you all I’m a closet roller coaster scaredy cat. I’m that person who’s saying a prayer to God that if he is going to take me to eternity that it not be on this roller coaster. Seriously, I think this is the one way I don’t want to die. So the fact that I even get on these rides is a miracle, the fact that I keep my eyes open and actually watch the ride is just a bonus. NOT THIS YEAR people. This brings me to my next promise to myself, I WILL KEEP MY EYES OPEN THROUGH THE ENTIRE TOWER OF TERROR. During my trip in 2007 my best friend and her fiancé went with Phillip and me to Disney World. She has a heart murmur so she doesn’t do the thriller rides and Phillip.…well for the sake of my marriage we won’t go too much into those memories LOL. So I agreed to go on Tower of Terror with Daniel (BF’s fiancé ). He told me it was only like 2-3 drops and that I would be okay. Well 6 drops later and eyes completely closed I pulled myself away from the chair in the elevator and literally kissed the ground I was walking on. This year I’m going to do it again…once I muster up enough bravery to walk into the queue. I’m going to keep my eyes open and witness the entire ride this time. Seriously…I am!! It only took me twice with Dinosaur and once with Space Mountain and Rockin Roller Coaster…I can do with TOT…right???

Next update…still haven’t found the list and am not motivated to make a new one…so WHO KNOWS!!!

This installment just kept me laughing! I can imagine you sleeping next to the guy in the coffin now. :lmao:

I am not a thrill ride person at all so I admire your desire to ride the rides with your eyes open, I think if I even got on all of them my eyes would absolutely be closed. :rotfl2:

You are so funny, Jen! I was laughing so hard when I was reading about (and imagining) you dancning around in your jingle socks while the poor kitties run for cover.:rotfl:

Where is the Haunted Mansion site? I want to hear the story about the bride and the captain. I've always been curious!

I also LOVE Spaceship Earth. The mix of history and science is fascinating to me.:thumbsup2

I need to take a picture of my pitiful Disney envelope for you guys!

DH would really think I'd lost it if I brought home a binder! He is pretty tired of trip talk.

My Hubby is full aware that I have completely lost it...he's hoping my sanity will return after the trip..of course I reminded him I'm going again in Dec...LOL

My binder was initiated, because originally Logan was supposed to be planning the trip. He is the groom after all.
However, after much deliberating, and finding out that Logan would be in training in Washington on our 180 day ADR day. I took over. The binder was so I could give Logan all the information he needed, so really it's been me planning the whole time. However, I think I'll probably need a bigger binder. I am planning on condensing all the important information down to a "carryable" size, because even though I love charts, and tons of information, I do not wish to be carrying it around in the parks with me.
After all, it will not fit into my Hipster!

Wow what a binder! :worship: I can definitely see where the ink went! I have a 3 ring folder of sorts but I don't want to print until I get it all set. I have a running page of tips and ideas saved on my computer- every time I read something helpful, I add it to my list. When it gets closer I'll print it and throw it in the folder.

That's about how I'm tackling it. I did originally print out our schedule for the week, but then I realized it needed to be changed, and haven't printed one out since.

That is so awesome laminated itinerary cards...now that is an idea...hmmmm I see I'm going to have a very busy Christmas break..those would definitely not make my backpack heavy!! Great idea LL!!!

I wish you the best of luck not going crazy LOL!! I know I'm enjoying the deep end LOL

Thanks...its amazing the amount of ink that went into that things!!! I also have a list of great tips. I also have a great list of things to say to characters to really make the most of my interactions.

Now I have to switch modes for a bit and work on my Christmas cards and writing our Christmas letter!

Ooooh! Laminating! That would add a whole new level of durability to my condensed plans!

My Deluxe Passported with my laminated cards in my backpack will be all that I'm carrying with me LOL!! Along with a jacket in case I get cold LOL!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I too can't wait for my trip and I hope to write a very exciting trip report...or at least attempt to...I'm trying to come up a catchy title of some so we'll have to see.

I'm a huge trip report junkie so I love to read them and I'm so enjoying writing them.

I decided to reply to your post on Soleil's thread here since it's your thread! :)

It sounds like you and Phillip have had TONS of fun!!! We have a list so long that there's no way we'll ever get through it, but it's fun to dream! HOW FUN! A themed Christmas sounds great. And I think it's awesome that you go along on his "Manly Trips"! :) We're reading a book for pre-marital counseling and it was talking about the importance of being your hubby's friend--and doing stuff he likes with him. It sounds like your NDH has a great wife! :thumbsup2

Just wanted to say how exciting to be getting married this time of year!! I just know your wedding will be wonderful! Just remember to keep Christ in the center of your marriage and really try to never go to bed angry!!! It's hard sometimes, but it's really an easy way to let small things start to fester.Okay, well I hope that didn't sound to bossy!!:rotfl: Blessings to you both!!!
