Hello all my fellow Disney addicts!!! How are you all doing this fine day??? I hope some aspect of your day was sprinkled with pixie dust!!!
Anywhoo…I must say that at some point I had a plan for this PTR, really I did! I knew things I wanted to share with you all and I even had an order for it…unfortunately I think I threw that list away. Yes, LL, I’m one of those list makers just like you LOL!!! I must tell you though, my ultimate Disney To-Do List, which has been placed in the Holy Grail of all binders, is coming along quite nicely! Unfortunately, due to the loss of the PTR list of which I can’t remember a single item, this PTR has become just like my brain: an assortment of random chaos that will never be organized no matter how I try to pretend it could ever be (see what I mean by random chaos LOL). So now I’m winging it, which should cause all of you extreme amounts of fear, because goodness knows what is going to show up in the pages of this PTR now…
Wait! Wait! A flash of lightning! Brilliant! I can discuss my Disney binder, also known as The-No-End-In Sight-Wonder-If-They-Make-A-4-Inch-Binder-Book-Of-Pure-Pixie-Dust-Delight! Through all of this planning, Phillip (NDH) was pretty sure it was Disney that would be burning a hole through his wallet. Now he’s come to realize that it is actually HP (the printer company) that is taking all his money. I have mourned the passing of at least 3 black ink cartridges and 1 color ink cartridge…to put that into Disney terms, the cost was equal to 20 Dole Whips or almost 2 nights stay on my Passholder rate at POP!! And I bought another black ink cartridge last night at Wal-Mart as I slowly suck the life out of my 4th black one. Will it ever end?
What does one place in the sacred Disney Binder? Even scarier, what does someone suffering from Disney OCD place inside such a valuable necessity as her binder? Well, almost everything she can find on the topic of Disney, of course! I have my actual itinerary in there (which is labeled “Version 10”, which explains the need for more ink), my package confirmation and the fact that I have my package completely paid for YAY!!!!! I have rental car information, directions from MapQuest to POP Century and from POP Century to every known place in Walt Disney World. I have all the information you could ever want about Pop Century resort and tons of information about the parks. My binder is broken up into categories and I have TGM plans and Unofficial Guide plans for each park. Yes, I’m way over prepared on how to conquer the parks with minimum wait times. Lastly in my binder are menus for all the restaurants where I will be dining. I’m hoping to be ready to order the minute I sit down at the restaurant. Although I must say, that section of the binder keeps getting bigger and bigger after being upgraded from the regular dining plan to the deluxe dining plan. It’s safe to say that my binder is HUGE and it’s a really good thing that I’m driving because it would take half the weight limit in my suitcase if I were flying. LOL!! Now to figure out how to take just SOME information with me into the parks….any ideas???
For Your Viewing Pleasure Some Pictures from my Binder...you will immediately understand the massive amounts of ink used LOL
HOLD UP…Wait a second; did Jen just say upgraded from dining to deluxe dining? That is correct! My dear father, who introduced me to my first taste of Disney when I was 10, decided to surprise me with an early Christmas gift and treat me to the deluxe plan! Now I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to eat all that food….I think I’ll be using some of my snack credits for sharing goodies with my new friends during Snowbird meets LOL! There are too few days and way too many restaurants to visit! Let’s not even get me started on the crazy intense wait to see a finalized list of 2009 dining plan participating restaurants. I’ve been trying to tell myself to just stay away from the dining boards LOL…just makes me all nervous!!
Oh well…I’d tell you what to expect in the next episode, but I have no idea!! Seriously, you may just get me singing Christmas carols…and if you are a fellow Snowbird, you know just the one I might pick LOL!!!!!
Until Next Time!!!
