I am So glad that I found this thread! Those will be a great addition to my Mickey themed tree! OP thanks for sharing!!

Love this thread!! I'm getting so many ideas for my new house! Also, it helps get in holiday mode!

This is just one of the greatest ideas. I have been looking to do something like this for decorating the golf cart when we stay at Ft. Wilderness in December. Thanks.:santa:

Glad to see this threat resurface. This weekend I will be making the Mickey heads with my 3 year old Grandson for our Disney tree. I see a very glittery house in my future!:lmao:

I just want to say these ornaments are amazing!!! I am going to pick up my son from school and we are heading to Michaels. He is such a Mickey freak he is going to love making these. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful idea. I don't know if anyone mentioned this or not,but these would be great gifts to put in everyone's FE's. :worship:

I found these this morning.... so when my DD finished her 1st craft class at Pat Catan's we bought our supplies. She is super excited about having these on her very own Christmas tree this year - so we bought the two smallest sized styrofoam balls. Instead of using spraypaint we bought acrylic paint (in purple of course) and gold glitter. As soon as we got home she painted them. I did the second coat and "helped" with the glitter over the plate and did the toothpicks. I'll have to let everyone know how they turn out once they are dry. :)

Hi Monica,
I just wanted to let you know that my son and I are working on making 4 of these and we are having so much fun coming up with ideas on how to decorate them. It's too cold here to be outside, so we are hand painting them and putting glitter on them. I will post pictures as soon as we finish them. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful craft with us. :thanks:

My 10 year old son helped me make these too.

I think we will need to touch up/re-make some of these this year.

Plus, I'd like to take a few with us and leave them for mousekeeping with their envelope.

I run a day care and some of the kids destroyed a few last christmas.

I can't wait to see what they look like. Don't make me wait to long.

I love it when different ideas come out of a first thought.

Lots of cool ones in the pages inbetween.

Here are our finished Ornaments, and of course we had to make one a Disboard Limey!!!

Thank you, I am totally hooked and now I'm trying to think of other ways to decorate more of them. By the time I am done I will probably need to go out and buy a third tree to put them all on. :rotfl:

a littlebitsassy: Those are just the sweetest! Love them!

I want pics of your trees!

Thank you so much. We made alittle bit of a mess with the glitter, but we had so much fun making them. Thank you again for sharing your ornaments with us. We usually only have 2 trees, one in our Frontroom and my son has one in his room. He said this year he wants it to be mainly Disney themed, but it has to have his train ornaments on it too. I am a huge Tinkerbell freak and I think this year I am going to put a tree in my room with anything Tinkerbell I can find. I also need to think of an idea for some homemade Tinkerbell ornaments, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. When the trees are all decorated I will definately take pictures and post them. Take Care and have a great weekend!!!
