Did you send your fax yet? I'm thinking that I might have found you when I was going throught the incoming faxes last night. The proper people got it and I'll look at work today to see what they gave you.

Thanks Jamey. Nice to know it was received. Now, if only Costco would show me that the water was shipped - I'll be even happier

This trip is "just what the doctor ordered" for us and I can't believe it's getting so close. I will come meet you this week.

Hey Jamey!!!
We are trying to decide which section to request and the queen beds are a big deal to us. Do you know how far they have gotten with them? I know Ranchos and Casitas are done, but what about Cabanas?

Is it better to ship my water from home or have it delivered once I get there?

I ordered my water from Costco on Friday and received confirmation this morning that it shipped today and is scheduled for delivery at Coronado Springs tomorrow, the day we check in. We don't arrive to MCO until a little after 5 so I expect it to be there when we check in.

Where is the Casitas 1 bedroom suite located(building, view, floor, etc) Thank-you!

So sad to be back. The resort is as beautiful as always. We stayed in the Casitas this time (Casitas 3, room 3130 - perfect location!). We were close to El Centro, the walk to the pool was longer than we'd had in the past when we were in the Cabana's but not a problem as it was a beautiful walk!

We were there 10/8 - 10/13 and the place was PACKED!!!! I've beent here 3 or 4 times before and never seen it so busy with families! I think the secret is out!!! Usually the halls are empty and the pepper market is too, but the place was hopping! It was festive and nice to see all the activity, but it was definitely different than I had seen in the past.

One of the things I love about CSR is the bus service. We've never in the past had to even stand on a bus. This trip, we were heading out to Epcot on Friday 10/10, and 2 busses came by and told us they were FULL. We couldn't even get on! Another family told us they had watched 3 busses stop and tell them they were full. Fortunately we had our car, so my DH decided to go that route instead. We'd already waited 25 minutes and couldn't get on a bus, so we decided to drive.

A big HR Block convention came in later in the weekend, so maybe that helped thin out the crowds ....

Still, it was lovely. The resort was beautiful as always... and even with the crowds, it was quiet and peaceful in the rooms.

This is wonderful news that they've switched out so many rooms already. I just changed my '09 Bounceback to OKW yesterday because we wanted queen beds instead of doubles but were concerned about not having a food court -- sounds like CSR might be just what we need!!! (BTW -- until yesterday afternoon I had no idea they were making this change! :confused3 )

We swithched from POFQ as soon as I heard about it. I had been leaning toward CSR anyway, but hubby wanted a smaller resort. The queen beds tipped the scales in my favor!!!

Also, any recent updates on how the automatic gratuity is handled for people on DDP @ Pepper Market? I have seen conflicting reports as to whether or not you have to pay it.

Welcome back. Glad you still enjoyed and found CSR lovely!

I'm pretty sure it's covered on the DDP plan. I'm not positive though.

Ok all you CSR lovers, I need your help. We have a trip scheduled for 12/16 - 12/21 at the POP w/ free dining. But, when I booked the POP I had them price CSR and it was $280 more. So, how do I convince DH it is worth the $280. I have read a great deal of this thread and have come up with the following "perks" as compared to POP: queen beds, less crowded buses, lower commute times to most parks, a little nicer/relaxed feel to the resort, better pool (not sure if this matters in Dec). Can anyone suggest anything else that might tip the scales toward CSR? By the way we have 2 DS's, 9 & 3. Thank you for your help.

thanks for the advice!! I'll probably fax in a request right before we come in December. We can't wait!!!

fantastic staff- In my opinion, a staff can make or break a vacation. An example is our stay at the Poly last May. The staff was so pitiful that I will NEVER stay there again. On the other hand, the staff at CSR is fabulous and I love staying there.

great transportation-

it's a LOT nicer resort-absolutely gorgeous.

If you're on the DDP, the Pepper Market has steak and that counts as a counter service meal!

Does anyone know where Cafe Rix is located? Is it with the other food locations, or separated a bit? I don't see it on any maps yet. Thanks!!

Yes, it is covered. A few weeks ago this came up and I mistakenly said that it wasn't covered but Buzz posted and said that it definitely is covered.

I'm sorry but I'm having a "duh" moment here...are you saying that you don't have to pay the manditory gratuity @ Pepper Market if you are using DDP, or just confirming that DDP is accepted there? Thanks!
