PTR for the planning obsessed....Updated 11/5 We're home now.

Thanks for the Walmart suggestion....hopefully they'll have something in 18mo.

On Day 23 I went looking for more T-shirts for DS....if he was a DD it would have been easy as there were tons of clarence shirts for little girls. I found 1 $3 Mickey Mouse shirt for Liam at Wal-Mart.....no Halloween shirts at all at any of the stores I went to. (I didn't have time to drive to Target as it's 1/2 hour away).

Day 22.....I made my appointment for my pedi. I scheduled it for the day before we leave. The spa is in the same town as my part-time job and since I have to go to my job that morning I thought I could save some time and gas and have the pedi then.

I'm getting the Lemon-aid Pedicure. Here's the description from the spa:
Lemon-aid Pedicure
60 Minutes
A rejuvenating answer to your dry feet. Relax while soaking in a warm footbath infused with fresh lemons and lemongrass essential oil. Your feet will enjoy a lemon enzyme peel followed by a heated bootie treatment and a relaxing foot and leg massage. Complete your service with your nails buffed to a glow or choice of polish.

Ahhhhhhh....it sounds relaxing just reading about it.

Day 21 I made 2 t-shirts for Liam today. One to wear at MK, and the other for Halloween. And I made our Halloween costumes. They came out very good and I'll post pictures later in the week.

That Lemon-aid pedicure sounds like pure lemon bliss!

I can't wait to see the costumes and the tshirts! :yay:

Oh my goodness, that pedicure sounds unbelievable! I want one! :lmao:

I can't wait to see the shirts and costumes you made. :goodvibes

Like everyone else has said, the pedicure sounds wonderful. I love the smell of lemongrass. It is one of my favorite aromatherapy scents.

I can't wait to see the costumes.

Sounds like we need a Lemon-aide Pedi Party!!

So much pressure.....I hope the shirts and costumes live up to the hype!

Day 20 I actually had a productive Disney Day yesterday.

I called and made an appointment to have my hair cut the week before we leave.

I brought the new luggage upstairs. Love it.

Then I organized Liam's vacation clothes and put them in labeled ziplock bags. God bless you Mom's that have to do this for more than one kid :worship: I'm happy to say that DS is only going nekkid one day. Seriously the bag for Sunday 11/2 has nothing in it. My plan is to either dress him in something that we buy down there or sink wash something from earlier in the week.

I realized that my PTR was lacking pictures of shoes.....so I give you.....little boy's sneakers and croclings. Love, Love, Love the croclings by the way.

Day 19 I printed out a couple of my touring plans while I was at work...I'll do a post on all that stuff once I get it all printed and organized.

Here are the two t-shirts that I made for Liam. I used designs from rumblytumbly.

He'll wear this one on Halloween day.

And this one is for our first day in Magic Kingdom. I had to add Liam's name and the My First Trip text to this one myself.

We're off to MA tomorrow to visit a good friend of mine and her newborn baby girl so I don't think I'll get anything done for vacation but I have 3 hours in the car to think think think about Disney!

Love your luggage! We need a new set - we had to throw away our large suitcase after the last trip - it finally fell apart. Flying on JetBlue we are only allowed one checked bag each - I think we checked 5 or 6 last year. :rolleyes1 We NEED another large suitcase & could probably use a whole new set. Maybe DMIL will buy us a set for Christmas. I like that you chose red instead of navy, black or dark green - they are so hard to spot on that luggage belt. I'm going to get neon pink (or lime green ;)) for our next set.

Great job on the shirts - they came out great. Love the crocklings too - I've seen them before, but didn't realize they had a cute name too.

Less than 3 weeks!!

OMG I am in love with the croclings, not enough mind you to want another child, but I am in love none the less. The shirts turned out fantastic, rumblytumbly's designs are amazing aren't they?

Cute, Cute, Cute Shirts! I love them. :thumbsup2

Is that a wall behind your beautiful luggage? It looks almost the same color as my kitchen. :goodvibes

I got each piece of luggage for under $100 at Kolh's.....I waited for it to go on sale for 50% - 60% off and then had a 30% off coupon on top of that. In the past we used my parent's luggage (that I got them for Christmas one year) but the last time we borrowed it, the luggage stank like smoke and it was too close to the trip to do anything about it. Nasty.

Besides being red....I tie colorful ribbon to each piece so they stand out even more of the belt.

The croclings really stay on his feet so I'm very happy with the purchase. I wish rumblytumbly was still designing! At least we have her photobucket account to steal from!

That is the CUTEST shirt! I'm assuming you made it?
Thanks! That's a stolen design from rumblytumbly....but yes I did the iron-on to the blank shirt.

Cute, Cute, Cute Shirts! I love them. :thumbsup2

Thanks! And yes that is my kitchen/hallway wall. It's called rejuevnate from Home Depot.

My favorite line of the day! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

The shirts turned out great and those little shoes are just precious!!!

I just hope I don't ask DH to get Liam dressed that morning!
I love his new sneakers....his old ones had laces...UGH!...these new are so easy to put on.

Thanks everyone for the nice words about the t-shirts. I will be posting pictures of the Halloween costumes soon.

The lemonaid pedi sounds wonderful, I can use one of those myself right about now!

The pumpkin shirt is just adorable!

:

I bought a set of light blue luggage the last time with the same thoughts. Low and behold on our flight down to Disney in August another family was checking two sets of the exact same luggage. :sad2: I just can't win. They couldn't find one of their pieces when arrived in Orlando so they kept coming by to look at mine. A bit annoying.

That's why I do the big ribbon.....it screams you didn't put this ribbon on, this is not your luggage!

And why do the airlines give you claim tickets??? I 've never once since an airport employee checking that you didn't take someone else's bags.

Hey anyone know how much money those luggage carts are at the Orlando airport??
