Post your Disney Dining Plan snack credit PIX here!

You might even wish to preempt the whole thing and bring a coffee maker and grounds from home. Then, he can make good coffee in the room, carry it in a thermos and you and your DD can start off expecting to use his snack credits.

We're in a 1BR at AKV so we'll have a coffee maker! Plan to purchase a small container of grounds and already have the filters. Didn't think about the thermos though - THANKS! I don't know how he can walk around in 90+ heat drinking hot coffee. I guess that's what medical school and residency will do to you. He lives off that stuff at the hospital - sometimes his only "meal" during a 12+ hour shift. And this morning, his day off this week, he drinks about 4 large cups before leaving home at 10:00 a.m. We get to the mall and by noon, he's drinking a large Starbucks. We get home, and he immediately turns the coffee pot on to warm up leftovers from this morning - yes, leftovers don't matter either. He's already on his 2nd cup since being home an hour ago. Oh yeah, and couple of diet sodas mixed in there as well. And yet, he'll still be able to fall asleep tonight :confused3 .

Where is Sunrise Seasons? The strawberry shortcake looks wonderful!!

8 Days till we get there. Wow, can hardly wait. This is our first time using the DDP.

Sunshine Seasons is in the Land in Epcot (right beside Soarin').

This is one of the best CS places (good snack place too) and is especially good value on the DDP. If unsure of what you can get for what points, just ask. I say this because I could not believe what you were getting for DDP credits.

HTH and have a great vacation.

Thank you, I can hardly wait to get there. We moved in with my 92 year old Dad who has dementia and even though I love caring for him, we are ready for a break and all these good snacks really have me ready to go. We have someone to care for him while we are gone, so we don't have to worry just have fun !!

Thank you all for the great posts and pictures.

Or you can bring a small bodum press. It's smaller and travels better, and all you need is hot water.

Which leads to the question...do the value resorts have a hot pot? Or is there anywhere I can get hot water?:confused3 Guess I should find that out before I plan to bring our bodum!:rotfl:

No hot pot, but, I think the food courts have hot water spouts intended for tea that would work.

True, but then you'd have to lug the press pot to the food court. If I was taking my press pot to a resort, I'd probably pack an electric kettle as well, so that I could heat the water myself in my room.

Okay - I think I need to go on a strict diet over the next 3 and a half weeks. There are WAY too many things I have to try!

So I think if I stop eating now...I will have enough room to try each and every one of those yummy snacks!!! Especially the Schoolbread, Funnel Cake, Figaro Fries & Goofy's snacks...yeah pretty much all of those snacks!!

So what kinds of snackies are there for non-sweets types of people. (Trust me...it's not ME, but DH. He is not into sugary stuff at all.....) He's a fruity or salty type of person.

Turkey legs aren't snacks on the dining plan are they?

Pretzels, popcorn, french fries, fresh fruit, onion rings, breadsticks, potato chips, frozen lemonades, chili....... lots of great stuff, but not turkey legs.

Thanks!! Frozen Lemonade....where do you find those? I am assuming Dole Whips' are a snack credit, right? Are those everywhere or just certain places?

We got frozen lemonades at Pizzafari in the Animal Kingdom (they're also at Flame Tree BBQ). Dole Whips (and my favorite Dole Whip Floats) are at the Aloha Isle in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. Delicious!!:cloud9:

Does anyone know if you are still able to use snack credits for 2liters at the resort stores? We were in October of 2007, but I know rules have changed.

Where are all the pix?? Keep 'em coming!! please.... :goodvibes
