Did you tell him he can meet 3D winkers in May?:rotfl2:

I showed him that picture of your "guys" at the fountain and told him these were the people we were probably going to bump into in May. His response...."hey look, there's room for me and ds right there!" :headache: :rotfl2:

Ooohhh.... We love Wendy's. I love the Classic Single. ::yes::

Don't get me started on Wendy's. I *loooooooooooove* Wendy's. And my dad's name is Dave too. Ha ha ha. So really, I should have red hair and braids.

Mmmmm. Might have to get that for lunch today.

Spicy chicken ... plain of course!

Me likee Wendy's....Southwest Salad here. MMMMmmmm Chili....

Funny story:

When I was in college, we took my BF at the time's mother out to Wendy's, as she had never been. She asked what a "frosty" was, and we told her it was pretty much a chocolate thick shake. So she ordered a cheeseburger meal with a Chili. OK. When the cashier askd her what he waned to drink, she reiterated that she wanted a chili. :confused3 We were all very confused until she mentioned that, if a frosty was a chocolate shake, wasn't a chili a vanilla one? :rotfl:

She got a coke.

Angela, that's too funny.....I love your delivery....so deadpan..it made it so much funnier......

I too love Wendy's......I'm with DM spicy chicken for me...I like the Chili too.

Yup Vietnamese, although we are now learning that he is probably more Chinese than we originally thought (G-pop's family escaped when he was really little). When I met him I thought he looked Chinese, but his name was Vietnamese. Explains why his mom's name is one of the "Smiths" of Vietnam. (You probably know the Vietnamese name I'm referring to, but I don't want to share it on here).

If he's at the same job next year, I might be able to sneak another DLR trip in since the conference is in San Diego again. Right now I'm hoping for him to have a conference at the Contemporary in June. It's not looking likely though :(

I'm more Japanese with a little Russian (Russian?) thrown in for good measure...I love me my Stoli Vodka.........really.

Chapter 19. Sunday, February 3rd. Day 4. Part 5. I guess I'm the keeper of the pix now.

Kim sent me a few of her pix from Sunday and Wendy is just too busy and too tired in the evenings to get to the computer.

So they left it to me to post some of their pix......

Here are a few of Kim's pix from Sunday:

She took a picture of me waiting for her to get her Dole Whip. Do I look happy? I'm sitting on hard, porous, spiky rock....Notice the people around me. No one looks happy....They're all waiting for that line to move....

And here's the view from the window that Kim was looking out of:

Here are some pix from Wendy's collection:

Leaving for LAX on early Sunday Morning. I'm guessing my Uncle David drove them to the airport. It was a cold, rainy morning in Los Angeles...Can't wait to be in the warm (flippin hot), Florida weather.

Here's Dylan:

Here's Erin and Tiger (What? A non-Disney stuffed animal?):

The plane left for MCO around 10:30ish. Here they are waiting for the plane to load:
CopyofIMG_0108.jpg

They arrived at MCO around 6:30pm. Took ME and arrived at BCV around 7:45pm. Here's a view of the lobby. You can make Derek out in the background.

Here's Dylan watching TV while Wendy's checking in:

What! That road looks way too empty to be ANYWHERE in LA. (After a day and a half in LA, I decided I was done and wasn't leaving Anaheim for the rest of our trip)

ooh driving in LA in the rain is scary. those people don't know how to do it. No offense to Los Angeles people but I lived there for 2 years and terrible.

nice pics they got.

One time a 45 minute drive took me 3 1/2 hours.....I was actually stopped on the freeway for 45 minutes.....

I have actually screamed out the window of my car..."I hate traffic. I hate it."
Now I just pray....it's good alone time...can't do anything to change it...so do something constructive...or I talk on the phone...

That picture of you sitting on the rock wall :rotfl: :lmao: You look a bit...uncomfortable ;) I think the only person that might be happy in that picture is the little one breastfeeding :)

Man - can Wendy's kids GET any cuter?! I love how simple kids are about naming their stuffed animals. It's a tiger so what better name should it have than "Tiger"? Sure makes it easy for us old folk to remember (and when you have 3 kids with multiple stuffed animals, it really gets difficult, let me tell ya). Connor has even named his blankets :sad2: He has two blankets that are identical except one is white and one is yellow. He's had them since he was a baby and he holds them and sucks his thumb. One he has named Leapster and the other Max :confused3

Yes, but isn't that better than sitting on the wet ground? Hee hee.

We actually had our regular shuttle driver take us. Because 1) on the way back, we'd have Kim with us so our car can't fit 6 plus luggage and strollers and 2) the shuttle folks will keep our car seats for the week and bring them back in the van when then pick us up. So we just opted to do that both ways. And yes, raining in the a.m. so we were really looking forward to sunny FL.

Here's Erin and Tiger (What? A non-Disney stuffed animal?):
Copy2ofIMG_0106.jpg

Tiger, whom she saw hardly any of during the week because when she misbehaved, that got taken away from her. So pretty much Tiger spent the week on the TV cabinet or in the suitcase. Mean mommy that I am.

Connor has even named his blankets. He's had them since he was a baby and he holds them and sucks his thumb. One he has named Leapster and the other Max :confused3

So if his blanket is Leapster... what's he going to do if you get him a Leapster game?? Ohhhh, the dilemma...

To elaborate on the story... (thanks for starting it Jordan)

Plane ride was fairly good (read: uneventful). We had three seats together on one side (me, Erin, Dylan) and then Derek had the middle seat on the other side. Fortunately, both kids slept :woohoo: for a good portion of the flight (maybe 2.5 hours) so that was GREAT.

Got to MCO, bypassed baggage claim (whoo hoo) went to the ME counter and got in line. Not too long of a line... got on the bus with about 15 others. Was weird to arrive at night - usually it's during the day. Watched the video on the way to the resort... arrived, checked in, and came "home" to a houseful of people (everyone plus RoBoJo's friend and her family...). So slightly different entry experience than Jordan (the ahhhhh of an empty room) but still, we were there and that's all that counts. So we settled in (for a long winter's nap... oh wait, wrong story) and checked out the fridge (fully stocked! :thumbsup2 ). I think then we went down to the Marketplace to get dinner (roast beef and brie - and turkey mozzarella - yum) then I think we pretty much relaxed and turned in after that.

Dylan was not so much interested in the pack n' play so for the bulk of the week there were 4 of us sharing the bed. Four people sleeping vertically, horizontally, diagonally, etc. It was like we were spelling letters out signaling airplanes flying overhead. Ha ha ha. At least we weren't spelling "SOL" instead of "SOS". (test: anyone know what that's from???? I'll be impressed if you do. Well, maybe not. It's really not that hard.)

Ok, thus ends the Okada report for day 1.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I think you're right.

I said Classic Single!

Just finished one. :yay:

Lucky you.....

So if his blanket is Leapster... what's he going to do if you get him a Leapster game?? Ohhhh, the dilemma...

Actually, he already has a Leapster, which is where I believe he might have gotten the idea ;) Yes, it's very confusing.

Funny funny. I just had a Classic Double combo for lunch. Shut up, I'm pregnant. I'm eating for two.

(not sure how that explains why I eat a double when not pregnant, but that's not the point.) :confused3

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You beat me to it cause I was gonna say what's my excuse then? :rotfl: Wendy's is my favorite fast food place for burgers (love Chic-Fil-A's nuggets) and I always get a double with cheese, ketchup and mustard :thumbsup2

I think the only person in that pic of you and the others waiting unhappily is the baby to the left nursing:laughing:

What a beautiful view from your villa window:goodvibes

The kids are so so cute:cutie:

Great pics!

Not only was the rain non-existant this week in Cali, but we never even saw a cloud!

Just for you Buzz.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I could eat a horse....I'm trying to stay away from bad food right now.

Burger gud. ::yes::

I get the Triple Stack at Burger King...Health experts list that as one of the worst burgers out there as far as calories and fat grams..

I think the only person in that pic of you and the others waiting unhappily is the baby to the left nursing:laughing:

Jinx. Buy me a coke ;)

I thought I had Deja Vu for a second.;)
