Cherie, I'm so excited to be along for this TR!!! You do need a do-over after the last one!!! Sorry about your England trip being postponed though. Spend a lot of time in the UK at Epcot!! :goodvibes

That picture you posted is my FAVORITE one from your entire last TR!!! :rotfl: Its so cute!!!

We surprised our kids with a Disneyland trip years ago. Its so worth it to keep the secret! It was tough packing in secret, etc. We loaded the car while they were sleeping and didn't tell them till we were in the car on our way!
Dh already tried to pass of the Uk pavilion as my trip before. It didn't go over too well!

Was I polite and not too chatty? I can't wait to see what I did on my trip with Jordan.

Yeah, I don't think they're going to demolish the castles anytime soon!

I'm in :surfweb: ! I can't wait to see if you manage to keep the whole trip a secret (what an awesome surprise for the kids) -- I would not be able to at all -- I need DD to help me plan since the boys in our family (DH and DS) seem to be under the impression that a Disney vacation comes together magically!

Off to read your other trip report :) !

yay!!!!!!! you've finally started your pre-TR! funny.....we're going at the same time and i started mine back in october. is there such a thing as mega OCD? if so, that's my diagnosis. anyway, i can't wait to read your plans. remember to consider kona breakfast with me! if you can't work it in, i'll understand. but i really hope we can meet this time!!! :goodvibes

It will be a miracle if I can keep my mouth shut! I almost blabbed to my ds14 today!
Coming along for the ride :car: !
Glad you're here!!

The only reason I'm just now starting this is because it took me over 9 months to finish my last one! I'm an obsessive compulsive procastinator!

I too was lurking throughout your last report! I have been to Disney 7 times with an 8th approaching in June, and England twice, with a 3rd possibly approaching next April (with 24 high schoolers!!! ) I'm more excited about Disney...though the aforementioned high schoolers might have a little something to do with that! :rotfl2: Nah...they are just 2 different kinds of fun...nothing like visiting another country and learning about another culture, but nothing will ever replace the fun of Disney!
Have fun with your planning. I love that you are going to surprise your kids!

Welcome!! I'm glad you came out of lurking to say hi!
24 high schoolers??? Yikes!

I'm here.
Good decision.
Kids are only small for a little while.
In 2003 we went to WDW and came back to an unexpected unemployment.:scared1:
Everytime I thought about the trip to WDW I would get a knot in my stomach. (Associated it I guess to the financial pressures we were under.)
By the Grace of God we were able to go again in 2006.
Then the warm fuzzies came back. It was a fantastic trip.
Thoughts of WDW should always be good.:thumbsup2

Me, Cherie aka Winkers............. 33 yr old sahm to 4. I became head over heels in love with disney vacations after our first trip to Disneyland 3 years ago. I have some ocd tendencies, so when I get into something, it's all I think about! This is the only picture I have of me in photobucket where I'm not making a weird face!
100_3401.jpg

D.Jay, Dh........39 yr old fun loving guy who puts up with all my strange ideas and constant talking about disney and the "dis". He'll try just about anything once. He's been working really hard the past 2 years going to school and still working full time. He really needs a vacation!
100_2696.jpg

Evan.........14 yr old total goof ball! He is so much fun and he's right in between being a boy and manhood. It just depends on the hour which he is! He is also a total rock and we all depend on him. He is the one I can always count on to go on the rollercoasters with me.
100_2957.jpg

Bailie.....12 yr old dd. She is mostly sunny with a chance of thunder storms! We joke that she was born with pms. Even with all the drama she is very caring and the 2nd mom of the family! She will ride alot of rides but tends to freak out on her first attempts. My very existence tends to embarass her and I take full advatage of that every chance I get!
100_3146.jpg

Hunter.......10 yr old ds. He is the comedian of the family. What can I say, he gets it from me!;) He's quite the daredevil and is always trying to keep up with Evan. He can make me laugh like no one else!
100_2844.jpg

Ethan.....7 yr old ds. He's my baby and he knows it! Spoiled? Just a touch. But he is the most caring little guy. He always manages to make me smile even when I want to throttle him. He tends to be very timid about trying new things and had several melt downs on our last trip over rides. I'm hopeing this time he'll be willing to try more!

That's my crazy bunch!

Love the pics.
Love the intros.
Makes me want to meet all of you.
I think our families would have a blast.

Great pictures! Your children are so cute! Your Ethan and my Connor seem like they are from the same mold (the "if I flash a smile and give Mom a hug, all will be forgiven" mold)! Not to mention, the "maybe next time" mold on rides. Last summer, Connor decided at the last minute to bail on Tower of Terror. His reasoning was "It's dark. If it wasn't nighttime I would ride it, but it is too creepy at night." Being a chicken myself, I was only too happy to go wait with him :).
