who's staying other places besides Pop?

I'll be at Pop 11/3-7, Coronado 11/7-11 and BCV 11/11-16

We're going to be in the Chicago area next weekend. Actually flying to Milwaukee on Friday, driving down to Chicago until Sunday, hopefully see my niece who lives in Belvedere, and then up to Brown's lake in WI not too far from Racine. We come home on Monday evening--will be lots of fun, but also lots of driving here and there.

Flying in and out of milwaukee is so nice compared to the zoo called Ohare. Do you have plans to do anything in town or are you staying far north in the ILL/WI border area? Right now it is supposed to be in the 50s and warming up to the low 60s by weekend.. There is always Fright Fest at Great America.. very crowded but lot of fun.. Culvers for ice cream and Gurnee Mills for shopping..

My husband's cousin's daughter is having her Bat Mitzvah. I think it's pretty much downtown Chicago--we're staying at Ramada Inn. Then on Sunday the festivities are over and we'll spend the rest of the time doing other stuff. Need to go taste beer in Milwaulkee. We haven't been to Brown's Lake since we lived in WI over 23 years ago, so it will be fun to show the kids (and all 4 of my kids are able to go, which never happens anymore since my DD is in college).

Have fun in downtown.. I would imagine that the whole day is plaaned with the Bat Mitzvah service and then the oneg and the lunch et al.. have a great time. i hope she does well and they don't make her sing the whole thing..

Crap on a cracker! See, I knew I was missing a few. I couldn't find the darn list. Can I plead terrible headache combined with my huge worry today over Kayla's dd and Shug's illness? Or just the fact that I am a ditz? Really, you 2 will understand when you meet me. . .
