Truthfully, this issue doesn't effect who I support for election. Gay marriage and abortion are the two issues that I have no true opinion on. I know in my heart that I am straight. However, I have no problem with gay marriage or gay people. If I have any problems with gay people, it is the recruiters who actually try to encourage you to experiment or to flat out switch. I've meet many gay people like that who ask me "how do you know you're not gay unless you've tried it?" Look, I'm happy with my lifestyle, and I don't wish to change at all. We are always taught to support a gay person's lifestyle. Keep in mind that I have absolutely no problem with gay people. However, if I'm supposed to support a gay person's lifestyle that they choose to live, aren't they supposed to support my chosen lifestyle?
Honestly, I'm surprised that gay people aren't at the forefront for supporting the war on terrorism. The truth is that those troops over in the middle east are fighting for our rights of free speech and freedom to live our own lives. And yes, that means that they are also defending your right to be gay in this country. If terrorists could do what they desire with us, all gays would be dead within a week. There was a poll on the left-wing daily kos website that asks: who would you prefer as president? Bush or the Iranian president? It's hard to believe, but 40% said that they would rather have the Iranian islamo-nazi president. The Iranian president has openly said even today when he spoke at Columbia University that gays don't exist in his country. You know why? It's because they've either been killed or put in jail. Now, this is my definition of an inconvenient truth.
