I'm really much crazier in person, if you can believe that.:yay:

LOL _ those Photos are so funny!! How can a person sleep that much when your in DISNEY!!!!:rotfl:

My thoughts exactly. It wasn't so much that he kept falling asleep, it was WHERE he was falling asleep. It really didn't matter where he was. If we were sitting for longer than a minute or two, he was out.

So I've been busy with life and haven't been here lately. My two buddies,Leyla and Farrah, are/will be at WDW right now. So maybe this is for you, Kathy....

Flight Update
So as of today, I have an official flight to and from WDW.

Depart LAX: Jan 30th, 2008 10:30pm
Arrive MCO: Jan 31st, 2008 6:30am

Depart MCO: Feb 13th, 2008 7:00pm
Arrive LAX: Feb 13th, 2008 9:20pm

I am staying 2 extra days in Orlando w/ friends to save some cash on plane fare...let's see if I do some FDM to stay those last 2 days onsite.

So the total cost of my flight including the credit I received for the flight in June: 126.65 round trip. For a non-stop flight, cross country, on a major carrier, that's not too shabby.

I would've waited longer to see if fares decreased, but w/ the price of oil at an all time high, I decided not to take the chance and 126.65 is a great price. I had budgeted about 175...so I am already 50 dollars ahead of the game..so maybe that 50 dollars saved could go to those extra days on the end of my trip....oh the FDM is working OT.:)

I'm so sorry about all your losses....I know how hard it is, I lost my brother last year at 21. My prayers go out to you and your family. :grouphug:

On a brighter note, I am IN LOVE with this pre-trip!!! You're an awesome write with awesome pics!

Keep up the great work! :thumbsup2

Not too shabby, indeed!

Kathy

I know it's hard to believe it myself. I had to jump at the chance. I like to play it safe and sometimes I pay for being overly cautious.

Case in point: for my June 07 WDW trip, I paid 270 round trip. It had gone down from about 325 and I figured I better jump at the price.....well....2 weeks later the price went down to 200. You win some and you lose some.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm realizing that the grieving process will take awhile. I cry at the wierdest times. I miss hearing my SILs voice.

Thanks for taking the time to read.....:goodvibes

I'm glad you're caught up:)
I am loving your report as well.

Can you believe in all of our trips to WDW, we've only been to 3 character meals and never to CRT. It will be a special time just for Erin and her parents.
She LOVES princesses (being one herself); so this one was a no brainer. I was surprised that the ADR was so easy to get....I think breakfast is still the hardest ADR to get.

So here's more pics from my June 07 trip:

This time I am featuring my friend June, the wife of non-Disney loving, sleep wherever I like, Jeff.

Her "thing" is waving in every picture. Her belief is that people who look at the picture will appreciate someone taking the time to wave hello. :confused3 I know.....I think she's a little off her rocker...but I love her anyway. I even joined in in one pic..

June 07 trip. I stayed at Pop by myself while the rest of my friends stayed either at the BCV or offsite.

I had never stayed at a value resort and I was apprehensive about staying at POP...No need to worry. I loved it. I am staying there again before hooking up with the rest of the gang this Feb.

I stayed in 5115 1st floor 60's section. It was a perfect location. It faced the lake. It was QUIET (except for the turbo, suck your innards out, toilets). It was very close to the main building. It was the perfect size for one person. I would say the only bad thing about it...it used to be a smoking room, I think. It definitely smelled a little like smoke, although it didn't seem like it was recent. I liked the location more than I didn't like the smell, so I stayed put.

I don't know if anyone else does this....who am I kidding....there's probably lots of you OCD people out there and probably much worse than me. Okay, so here's my thing...I have to make the room look as much like it did on the day I arrived--EVERYDAY. I usually spend 10-15 minutes straightening up the room until it meets my standards...:rolleyes1 Please notice in the bed picture how I've straightened the books on the night stand.....

Man I need help.:)

I love that fact that June waves in all her pictures! I will have to take some pics like that when I go in December to post!!!

Just wanted to let you know I finally made it over and read the first installment. I am very sorry for all the losses that you have had. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, what that reason is, no body knows execpt the big guy upstairs. I am back to ready, you have me hooked, but just wanted to say I was along for the ride.

:)

:welcome: party:

Thanks for stopping by Dan. Thanks for the encouraging words, it's been a VERY difficult year, but one also of tremendous personal growth. So, overall, all the heartache has been worth it.
