I just figured out with the new things needed for expansion I need 40 permits and another 8,100 people. That's about 8 more houses! I don't know where the heck I'll put them unless I take out all of the shade trees and other things and just cram everything together!

I hate it too. Ran out of room a long time ago. I'm at the point of looking at the houses that don't add a lot of people and trying to demolish those houses just to keep up with the population. Stinks because I don't want a bunch of the same houses in my city.

However if you are my friend on cityville and need permits, send your requests and I'll make sure to send you permits.

I have just recently started playing and what irritates me is always needing more than five friends to hire to open community buildings. Not many of my friends play so it takes me forever to save enough city cash to open my buildings.

I don't know who is already a friend or not since I can't connect user names here with real names..so, since my user name here is also my real name if you need neighbors for city, farm or frontiervilles, or for cafe world and treasure island send me a PM...those are the games I play. Put off with Cityville right now. The new population changes to get an expansion are just ridiculous. What is their motive? I hope they drop this requirement and quick! I will not be expanding unless they do.

The whole limited energy issue is also ridiculous! Don't they WANT us to play?

Not happy about the expansion requirements at all. I can't place the port for the cruise ship without an expansion and I still need 16 permits and 400 more in population. What a pain.

How are you supposed to get the additional population required to expand without the land to place their houses? I don't get the purpose of the change. I'm getting frustrated with Cityville!

I stopped playing CityVille about two weeks ago because of all these stupid changes they've made. I won't be playing again.

You go through and start demoing a lot of the houses that they originally had to offer, and replacing them with very expensive ones that hold 3x the people in the same footprint. I'm also removing streets, and connecting housing areas only with sidewalks.

I've done some of that too. Haven't removed roads yet but have been changing out the houses.
