Trying to decide on a show to see in Vegas. I've never done Cirque and Zumanity looks different than anything we'd be able to catch back in West Virginia, so it's high on the list.

Is it too much, though? Are we going to be sitting there with our mouths open? :rotfl:

TIA!

I think even people who aren't prudes don't think it's all that good, compared to the other Cirque shows in town. Or, in other words, the chances of you NOT liking it are higher than the other Cirque shows.

Frankly, I've never heard anybody rave about it the way they do pretty much all the other shows.

Well...how uptight are you? Please don't take offense it is an honest question. Zumanity is a very good show but it is not for everyone. The theater is small and very intimate. It is very very risque with very sexual situations.

If you are interested in a Cirque du Soleil show and you don't think Zumanity will be a fit for you they have other very good shows on the Strip. A good show for Cirque first timers is O at the Bellagio or Love at wherever it is. I can't remember where Love plays.

yes you will probably be sitting there with your mouth open. :lmao: It's different, I'll say that.

Love is at the Mirage. I think that looks like a fun show! We have seen Mystere and enjoyed that production. It plays at Treasure Island(TI).

We are going to Vegas in April and trying to decide what show to see. Have a great trip!

I saw Mystere back in August and it literally had me on the edge of my seat. I have also heard Zumanity is not that good. Mystere is definitely not something I would see back home in TN. DH and I loved it. Love at the Mirage looks great too. I hope to see that on my next Vegas trip. I have a few friends who have seen O and they say it is amazing too.

I recently saw "O," "Ka," and "Mystere." All three shows were great, but Ka was my favorite.

I've seen O, Mystere and Zumanity. I enjoyed all 3. I LOVED Mystere and O, but liked Zumanity well enough.

Like others have said, it's a very adult show, which is why nobody under 18 is allowed.

It's a pretty good show, but to me, not very "Cirque-ish" compared to most of Cirque du Soleil's other shows. It was more like a Vegas cabaret show to me, with some Cirque acts/qualities. It was still a good show.

I've seen:
KA
LOVE
Zumanity
Mystere

And those are the order I'd recommend them in. I think they are all good in different ways. KA was just amazing, and LOVE was fun even though I'm not a Beatles fan.

I really had a good time and enjoyed myself at Zumanity. It's very adult oriented, with men dressed as women, two men kissing, topless women, and lots of adult humor. But it was a fun show, and I'm glad I got to see. Then again, I am far from uptight. :rotfl:

We've seen just about every traveling Cirque show there is but in Vegas we've seen Mystere and LOVE. I'd see LOVE again in a heartbeat. Just listened to the soundtrack again today. :) Next on my list is KA. I'm not sure I'd see Zumanity as my first Cirque experience. :rolleyes1

Very interesting, sexy thing. Not for kids for sure. We saw it last June.

I saw Zumanity and didn't care for it much. It was my first Cirque show. There was one part that I really enjoyed that makes me believe I would like other cirque shows. I just found some of the humor a bit forced. Like they were trying too hard to be raunchy, but it didn't seem that bad to me.
