Zometa...anyone treated with this?

MY DM is going through breast cancer treatments and was starting Zometa via IV. It really whacked her out both physically and mentally. Fortunately, her doctor has decided against this drug. We cannot figure out if it was the Zometa or the radiation that zapped her physically. Now after a month since her last Zometa, she is starting to feel better. But she is also a week out from her last radiation treatment is starting to feel ALOT better. My question is...has anyone had adverse reactions from Zometa?
