Maybe I just got lucky or something, but I will say I feel much better. My throat and nose both more clear. 
Although, since it did start from DD11 who also has very bad asthma, I was wondering if I should have given her one. And, I ended up taking her to the doctor on an emergency because her asthma had gotten so out of control, but yet I forgot to ask him if I could give her some. 
But I think she is on enough stuff, he upped her advair and put her on a "steroid" type med. 
But she is napping now and I'm hoping it blows over over the weekend. Thanks everyone.
