I gave my grandchildren zhu zhu pets ... they're wanting the carriers and the outfits...I've looked at the ones on ebay - and I figure that I can make them. (I have loads of material scraps of all fabrics).
Can anyone tell me just how the clothes attach onto the hamster? I can't tell by the pictures, and some of the descriptions say the outfit goes over it's head and is held on by elastic behind the ears. Is that the only thing holding the outfit on? The piece of elastic can't be that long..the hamsters are so small - can anyone measure it for me?
I think I've figured out my own pattern for the carrier...and I'm working on figuring out a bed pattern....
I think I'm having as much fun as they are....unfortunately they don't live near me....so I can't do "fittings" - I should have bought one for myself to use as a model...
