I was kind of skeptical of ordering shoes off the internet. My feet are very hard to fit, and I have a hell of a time finding shoes. A week ago, I ordered two pairs -- one fit, one didn't. The return process was so incredibly easy!

To replace the pair that didn't fit, I ordered another pair. When I tracked the package, it said it had arrived yesterday at noon, but it hadn't. UPS lost the package. I called UPS, but they told me I needed to call back later. Called them again, and they told me it was still showing up as delivered (well, I was home all day, so I know for a fact it wasn't simply stolen from my porch). They told me to call Zappos. I have to laugh, though... the first UPS agent I spoke with told me I was the nicest person with a loss he'd ever talked to. :rotfl: I said, "What's to get worked up over?" :confused3 :teeth:

Called Zappos and zip boom bang, the CS agent ordered me a new pair of shoes and wished me a nice weekend! :cool1:

I highly recommend Zappos!

I would have to agree. I used Zappos for the first time before Christmas to order slippers for my dad. I wasn't sure if they would work out or not so the whole "free shipping both ways" was a big plus for me. There customer service is great. I'll be using them again as well. :thumbsup2

I love Zappos. I'm a 6.5 wide and its really hard to find shoes that fit my misshapen Fred Flinstone feet. I have bought several pairs from Zappos and had to return some of them, but it is so easy. Just put them back in the box, tape the return reciept to it and drop it off at a UPS store (and I happen to have one in my neighborhood). I dont have to irritate sales people by trying on several different pairs just to decide not to buy any.

Hey, that's great to know :thumbsup2 !! I'm going to check out their website!! Can anyone suggest really comfortable "park" shoes for hard to fit feet :clown: ? Can't wear those crocs. :sad2:

I can't wear Crocs either -- there's just not enough support for me.

Are you a woman? The shoes that have worked great for me in park touring have been switching off between Rykas sneakers (they're made specially for women and feel so good and cushiony) and Teva Pretty Rugged nylon sandals. I also have the Teva Pretty Rugged in leather, but they didn't seem to have as much support as the nylons.

My feet are bad. They're wide, and I have low arches, plus tendonitis in my arches.

I've used them a couple times. I have had to do returns but yes, it is incredibly easy. I hate when you go into a store and have to wait around to find somebody who works there because they seem to all of a sudden disappear when I need them. Then of course after waiting around to get the darn shoes, they never end up fitting anyway or the salesperson says they don't have my size.
