While it gives us much-needed room, it also eliminates places to sit. Oh well. It is now a fait accompli.

That planter drove me nuts, I am not sad to see it go.

I don't know. I am of mixed feelings. I loved the plantings in this area and the edge was nice for sitting, but it does open the area and if Disney is going to oversell the park, then this was a needed step.

Mixed feelings too. I will admit i liked being able to sit there. but it made for bad traffic flow.

awww noooo, sniff. That was one of my favourite places to sit. I used it so much in June 2018. One the day I was there the Fastpass return time was about the same lenth of time as standby, so I would pull a Fastpass, then sit in the shade opposite the Fastpass entry area. I had a nice shady seat while the standby people stood in the sun. I did this multiple times one afternoon. Now its gone!!!

It's really hard to find places to sit on the busy days. While they were outdated, I thought they had good function.
