Yuletime Resort Decorating HAS started!

Just back from 4 day trip at Yacht Club. The Tree went up and the lobby was decorated the night of Nov. 6. A definite magical moment going down for coffee in in morning and seeing the transformation from the night before!!


Beach Club was also decorated that night. Boardwalk was being decorated on Friday morning (8th), but all outside decorations were not complete as of today (if they are going to decorate it as they did last year). We went over to the MK resorts today and only the Poly has their decorations up in the lobby.

The landscaping for the holidays inside and outside the resorts and parks had not begun yet (added ponsettias, holly and such)

Some shops have trees and garland up in the parks and at marketplace so by thanksgiving all decorations are sure to be up.

Thanks for letting us know ! DH and I will check in at the YC Friday morning! I didn't even consider that the Christmas decorations might already be up.

We were able to see them in January of this year. They were just beautiful. What a treat to get to see them again !

Anyone just returning? What does this resort look like at Christmas? We're there in less than two weeks! Hope it is decorated when we are there!

Dee & Greg....we stayed at the AKL last Christmas and thought it was decorated beautifully!
Had a huge tree in the lobby with lots of African type masks, drums, etc on it.

And there was a Gingerbread African village replica downstairs at the restaurant.

Different, but very nice!

Looks like there's gonna be alot of us Disers there next week!

The WDW Christmas decorations are so amazing! I am really looking forward to seeing them in December! The AKL was really gorgeous last year. They had a huge tree in the lobby (like at the WL) that was really neat.
