Yuletide Fantasy Tour ???

I'm interested in the Yuletide Fantasy Tour this year, the tour where they take you to see the various holiday decorations at parks, resorts. When is that announced-the dates and cost? Is it usually offered every day or just certain days of the week? Besides the reviews on Deb Wills site, is there anyone who's taken it and can give me some feedback on whether it's worth it?

Many people liked this tour - personally, I was underwhelmed. But a lot depends on you tour guide. Ours was nice enough but he didn't know the material at all and kept referring to his notes which was sort of disruptive of the "magic" and when he didn't refer to his notes he would say stuff that was just plain wrong.

I didn't hate it, but I didn't feel the price was justified. With a better guide though, it could probably be pretty fun.

When I took the tour, it was only offered a couple days/week but I don't recall the exact schedule.

I took the tour in 2001. As with all the tours I have taken (8 so far and another to come in Dec), I enjoyed this one. Very informative, some backstage things which are always interesting for 'Disney nuts' and onstage explanation of things and just generally pointing things out and the the 'whys and wherefors'. Deb's site is what I use for my tour info, very complete. If you do take a tour, make sure to get the discounts, if you have any of the qualifiers, AMEX, AP, DVC, DQ, etc.
