YUCK! AK is in a MESS!

I went to this post directly after reading the post in "resorts" forum about dirty bedspreads...it took me a minute to get it because I was so icked out by the last thread I was on...
:rotfl:

Now here's what's really scary...
the bedspreads thing is NOT A JOKE! :scared1:

Have a clean, tidy, magical day!
:lmao:

This post is a troll. The poster has another dumb post out there entitled "I'm in tears, MIL runing our trip". They haven't responded to any of their posts so far.

They had another post about how they sell their extra fastpasses for $5 - $6 too.

And what about the Prime Time Cafe? I think it's about time that place was updated!

Not a troll, just a joke - actually more of a parody of some of the more ridiculous posts that have actually been posted :rotfl:

What does the 'troll' term mean?

Someone who starts a topic to get a reaction...usually a bad one.
And seriously I laughed so hard at this thread.

Yesterday we were going to see the Safari ride in AK but to get there we had to walk through the worst looking mess of a Disney park area I've ever seen.
There were wires dangling from rusty poles.
Paint missing on buildings.
The ground was stained from who knows what.
The restroom buildings were covered with old posters that people had tried to peel off.
What has happened to the clean-ups that Disney was famous for?
Budget cuts are ruining the place.
I heard there are less people coming to Disneyworld and I can see why.

We just decided not to even try the Safari.
If that's how Disney keeps its buildings we figured the Safari trucks should be a mess and break down out where the animals might hurt us.

We just watched the parade (good, BTW) and then left the park to try and eat somewhere better (Cracker Barrel, just down the freeway).

Tomorrow we are going to go back to AK and try the Everest mountain ride.
That area is NEW, at least so it should not have had time to become so run-down (I hope)!

Just saw the message about the DIRT on the Epcot Ball...
YUCK!

Oh no I am not falling for another one of your silly posts. 31 people in a 5th wheel at camp kiss me and dirt on the ball at Epcot and now AK is falling down. I oughta make you wash your mouth with soap ya big fibber!! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

You know another place that's gone downhill is Tom Sawyer's island. Why, the last time I was there, the paint crew just walked off and left their brushes sitting around for anyone to find.

You are so right, those parks are so untidy that there are mice running around everywhere. ;)

Maybe AAA would take hours and hours (and charge $100) to come out and help you, unless you were unfortunate enough to break down over Labor Day weekend in rural WV........

Anyone been on the slides at River Country lately? It's really not safe anymore. Too many gators & lizards waiting at the bottom. Double yuck!

Hmmmm...this reminds me of the post a while back by the person who thought all the animals on the Safari were fake-but she was serious. :teeth: I hope this one isn't.

I remember that - someone was responding to my initial posting about what time is best to ride the safari and then commented about that the lions were fake and that they never moved. All I wanted to know was what time to ride the safari!! :rotfl:

eating at Cracker Barrell! You know it's good because there is one in every city in America. Who would take a chance trying one of the restaurants on Disney property, especially if they keep the parks in such a mess. Why take chances on your vacation. :rotfl2: ;)

Personally I have to agree with the original poster. The last time we were at AK they had all of their bright colored dirty laundry hanging in the trees and stuff. ;)
