YouTube Wacko Bride a put-on

The girls who created the video were on GMA this morning. It was all staged and acripted, they are aspiring actresses, go figure!

I think the girl playing the bride just lost her chance at getting any future acting gigs. After originally watching the video, I thought her acting was so stilted and over the top, it was a dead give-away that the whole thing was staged.

We were watching this after work and everyone thought it was fake. The general consensus was that the bridesmaids were much better actresses than the bride.

It was one of the bridesmaids that was the originator. She was in some show and a director approached her about doing something. She and the other "bridesmaids" came up with the plot.

At least they didn't let it linger or try and say it was real. They are getting a lot of publicity and I bet at least one of them gets a gig from it.

She was the worst actress I have ever seen.

Wait - there was a PLOT?

I'm confused by this whole thing. I saw the clip on Today yesterday, and I wasn't that impressed by it. I mean, yeah, it was NUTS, but it would've been nuts and over the top if it was REAL and I was there watching the whole thing...but with YouTube, how much of it is actually real? I didn't find it as entertaining as, apparently, the rest of the world did, since the dj on the radio station I listen to was talking about how she HAD to watch it close to a dozen times. I mean, it just goes on and on and on and...ok, we get it. She knows how to scream. Big deal.


I also did see the interview on GMA this morning...and, like I said, I get what they were TRYING to do, but I'm not sure, beyond their 15 minutes of fame, they're going to get that far with it. I'm actually a little disappointed that GMA thought it was news worthy enough to give them a spot during their mid-show hour.

I didn't think it was real, but I have to say I found it hysterical when she started cutting her hair and the bridesmaids were in the other room laughing.

My hair person almost didn't show up for my wedding. I have lived that fear. I thought the whole thing was hysterical.
