Youtube question

I would like to show a youtube video in my class but the school has it blocked. Is there any way to save the video onto another device (jump drive) to show in class? Thanks!

There are programs out there that will capture streaming video (such as youtube). You can them play them on your PC as long as you have a compatible player. Some programs are free, some you have to buy.

Search google for "streaming video capture".

What they said. Do a search and you can find some. Make sure you do it in hi-res though.

If you are using FireFox as your browser, I believe there are some add-ins that will allow you to capture these videos. Just check for FireFox add-ins for capturing streamoing or flash video.
