ok - way to scare everyone off from procreating!

;)

But it's all worth it in the end - the diaper blow-outs, colic, temper tantrums, extra loads of laundry. ;)

When you're throwing up, have hemmorhoids, horrible gas, swollen ankles, and a placekicker nailing you in the ribs, you may call it anything you wish! ;)

You should speak in high schools! Teenage pregnancy would be a thing of the past :). Heck, even my biological clock completely stopped when I read about the placekicker thing!

As for the pasta sauce issue, my friend is about to give birth any day now and she calls herself preggers all the time. I didn't think it was such a controversy

This is the DIS! Everything surrounding parenting is a debate here! ;)

your colicy baby boy peeing in your face during diaper changes, that was MY favorite part!

Well, maybe YOU"RE not Preggers or Prego but *I* am. :confused3 At work I am "hey Prego!" which I think is the equivalent of "hey Kool-aid!" but I'm not sure. And on another message board I am pg-31 and I'd bet any day now someone will call me Preggers.

And guess what???? Me, the Preggers-hormonally overwrought and emotional mess that I am is not offended by any of it.

And, when you are PREGGERS and look like an overly round jar of PREGO you can refer to yourself any way you want to and it won't bother me a bit. But...until then you should proabably sit this one out. ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Ds10 used to kick me so hard I'd see his feet through my skin. I'd always poke him and push him and try to smoosh him back in, but he was a persistent little bugger! :teeth:

If I'm pregnant :faint: , child #3 will have to sleep in a dresser drawer.

I didn't realize this OP was in highschool.

I wonder if she is annoyed by combined words that I hear high schooler saying like allight - no I'm not allight I am ALL RIGHT! Or "Ya know want I'm saying?" Well yeah, your speaking in English!

Yeah, and maybe she feels those nick names are disrespectful to someone doing something so wonderful and important. But hopefully she sees that most of us aren't / weren't offended by the nicknames.

Can I assume that calling the unborn baby "Cletus the Fetus" bothers you too?

Geez, I know you're pregnant but keep the hormones in check, please.

And acutally, yeah, I'm a stickler for grammar, and words that are acutally words.

Okay, there truly are no smileys that express how hard I just laughed at that! I guess she'd be offended that we have nicknamed #3 Cuervo Gold because at ultrasound #1 he/she was so little that it just looked like the worm at the bottom of the tequila bottle.
