"You're mocking me, aren't you?"-Final Update 11/8! :)

So this update will have no pics and be kinda short since all we did was Typhoon Lagoon this day…

We got up and headed to Typhoon Lagoon at around 10ish I think…It took a while to find an open chair and finally had to settle with one in the direct sun  The first thing we headed to was the wave pool…and oh my god that thing is terrifying!!!!! Right before we got in a wave came and I was already scared. We then waited like another 30 minutes till the next wave came. After that one….I was done with the waves for the day…haha I'm sorry but those waves are way too freaking intense, even in the shallow section you’d get knocked to the ground! If you ask me I think they really need to tone down that wave pool… After the insane bone crushing wave pool we got in line for some slides. We did the the big raft one and a few others, which were all pretty good.

Around 1 o clock we headed over to get some lunch at one of the QS’s. We got our food and started to eat when a family walked by. They had gotten one of the huge ice creams in the sand bucket and all of us were like “Ooohh cool!” They laughed and sat at the table next to us. Jamie's mom overheard them talking and suddenly asked them “Are you all from Finland? They said yes and since Jamie's family had lived there they quickly struck up a conversation! After that we were finishing up our lunch when a nice little bird flew over and left a present on our table…if you know what I mean...lol!! We all screamed and Jamie's little brother, not realizing where it was, stuck his arm into it!!! Hahahah That was pretty gross. We left quickly after that since the birds then suddenly started leaving presents everywhere!! :lmao:

We went in the lazy river, which was very relaxing, and then headed to the Crush n Gusher. I forget which fruit we went on,lol, but it was a lot of fun and it was probably my favorite of the day. It was about 4 o clock then and we decided we’d had enough so we went back to the townhouse.

Later that night, Jamie, her mom, and I headed to DTD for a girls night of shopping! We went to the WOD store of course and just strolled through the marketplace. We also stopped and asked Guest Relations if Shang appears in Epcot, since we would be heading there tomorrow. They said that if we get there when the park opens and we head straight to GR there then they would be able to tell us who was on the schedule for that day….This got my hopes up as I was expecting a flat out no. But, you’ll find out about that in the next update. We got home kinda late but it was fun just having a girls night out!:thumbsup2

Up Next: Epcot!, Will I ever meet Shang?, and first time on Soarin!

*Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I've had cheer practice like 24/7. But I plan to finish this TR before school starts so the end is near! Enjoy!

So today was our day at the lovely…

Epcot! We got up early(anytime before 11 is early for me ;)) and headed to Epcot around 9ish. We saw Daisy on the way in with like no line and I wanted to meet her but no one else wanted to. The first thing we headed to was….Guest Relations! Woohoo! Jamie’s Mom asked about Shang being out today in China with Mulan. The CM called somewhere to ask and they said…Nope, no Shang, sorry! That was it…So we left… and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t crushed. I seriously felt like crying since he is the one and only character I want to meet, but I held it together (yes I know I have no life, I just really like Shang…a lot, lol I’ve loved him since I was 5 so give me a break ok!) After the heartbreaking letdown …we headed to Soarin. This was going to be my first time on it so I was excited I guess…I kinda thought since it wasn’t a thrill ride it was going to be boring. Lol But it wasn’t! I loved it; it was definitely one of the coolest rides I’ve ever been on. After Soarin we headed over to Test Track, the line was about 45 minutes I think and it took a long time. I loved this one though; it’s my favorite ride in Epcot! As soon as we were done with Test Track we decided to hit up the World Showcase and get to China early so we could meet Mulan! We meandered our way to China and played with the parasols when we got there.

DISNEY197.jpg

^not the best picture of me, but I think towards the end of the trip Jamie and I were tired of smiling for pictures so much!

Once it was about time for Mulan to appear, we were wondering where she would be exactly. Jamie and I found a CM, who must’ve been a manager, and he literally walked us to the direct spot where she would stand! Haha He told us that he’d go check on Mulan and that she’d be out in a minute. We were 2nd in line when she came out and I was super excited to finally meet my favorite princess! She was really sweet and talked to us about our day and asked if we’d been on any rides. We told her yes and she said well I hope not any scary ones… I said no I like the scary ones. I thought it was kind of odd for Mulan to not like scary rides, I mean come on she’s supposed to be a rebel right? :confused3I should have asked her about Shang though, just to see what she would say, I really regret not doing that. Anywho, we got a picture with her and it started getting really hot out so we decided to go take a lunch break at our townhouse.

DISNEY199.jpg

After our break, we rode Mission Space. We chose the orange side since its much more fun and we completed our mission successfully! :thumbsup2

DISNEY196.jpg

^took this while waiting in line, I love this spinning wheel thing.
After that we picked up where we left off earlier in the WS, first we went into some of the shops in Germany and Italy. Then we went to Japan, where Jamie’s little brothers did the Pick a Pearl thing in the store. It was really cool watching them pick one and what the girl made them do. Jamie’s younger brother got kind of scared though because the girl who was helping him had a very strong accent and he couldn’t understand what she was saying. Afterward we went to France to get some sweets at the pastry shop. Jamie and I actually got our treats then ran with them to the UK before whatever character that was there that day went away. Since we had no idea where said character would be we asked a CM who told us it was in the back of a toy shop! We were glad we asked because we would have never figured that out! So we go to the back of the toy store and Pooh and Tigger are there!! We got in line and soon it was our turn! This was probably one of the best character interactions we had. Pooh and Tigger absolutely loved us! While we were waiting for Pooh to finish signing our books, Tigger starts bouncing and wanted me to join in with him. Lol So I started bouncing with Tigger and feeling like an idiot, but hey only at Disney right?! Pooh became very attached to Jamie as well. They really were having fun with us! On our way out Tigger signed I heart U to me! It was so cute; I'm really glad we got to meet them!

DISNEY203.jpg

^I was bouncing with Tigger here, I have no idea what Jamie's doing...lol

DISNEY205.jpg

^fyi,My nose is not sunburnt, my lovely camera just decided to make me look like a lobster:mad:

After our great time with Pooh and Tigger I believe we just wandered around the countries some more. It was getting darker so it was almost time for Illuminations. We found an okay spot and watched the show. This was also my first time ever seeing this show and I thought it was pretty good. I liked the spinning Earth in the middle. After it was over we headed home to get some rest for our last day! :sad1:

DISNEY210.jpg

DISNEY209.jpg

^some other ball shots I tried to take…they were pretty much all fails.

And finally a random crowd shot…
DISNEY207.jpg

Up Next: Last day!!! MK, lots of character photos, and rain!?

Sounds like you had alot of fun with character interaction today. I cant wait to ride Soarin and Test track!!

Hi everyone!! I haven't updated this TR in almost 2 months! I have many excuses but I won't bore you with them, lets just say senior year is excruciatingly stressful!!! So I last left off with day 6 at Epcot. Today was our last day at the World so we decided to end with Magic Kingdom :)

DISNEY216-1.jpg

Isn't the train station lovely?:cloud9:

We got there around 9ish and headed straight for Space Mountain of course! The wait was only about 20 minutes I think so we were on in no time.

DISNEY224.jpg

After Space, we saw Space Chip and Dale near by so we headed over to get a picture with them!

DISNEY225.jpg

Jamie and I then decided that we wanted to meet the Princesses. We headed over to Toontown and got in line..except there was no line at all for them! First we met Cinderella...

DISNEY226.jpg

Then Belle, whose Jamie's favorite :)!...

DISNEY227.jpg

Then last was Aurora, whose one of my favorites!

DISNEY228.jpg

While we had been waiting in the Princess line, we noticed the Fairies line was also pretty short so we ran straight there after we were done, but this turned out to be a huge mistake, the line for the Fairies had tripled in size while the Princess line was still only 1 or 2 families long. We figured it wouldn't take too entirely long so we decided to stick it out. Well 45 minutes later, we were close to meeting them when Jamie's mom texted her saying we weren't allowed to meet anymore characters as this was taking too much time :( Oh well. We were transformed into pixie size then we were taken to meet Rosetta first!
I loved her accent, she was hilarious!

DISNEY230.jpg

Then was Tink!

DISNEY231.jpg

Last but not least was Silvermist.

DISNEY233.jpg

So after meeting all of the characters we met up with Jamie's family at IASW right as they were getting off.

I've been to Disney 3 times now and have yet to ride this, how sad is that?
DISNEY234.jpg

We headed over to Peter Pan's Flight, and the line for it was insane, but we waited anyways. The ride was cute but probably not something I'd waste time on again :/ After that I believe we ate lunch at a QS in Fantasyland then went to see Mickey's Philharmagic. That show was really cute, I'd never seen it before but it was adorable. After that we went to Frontierland and got in line for Splash Moutain. Splash is definitely one of my favorites, even if the water smells really bad...

I saw this in line and thought it was funny I guess.
DISNEY239.jpg

DISNEY241.jpg

After that we headed over to get in line for the Jungle Cruise! On our way to Jungle Cruise we saw Captain Jack!!! I was so excited, he is so hot!!!! I took about 6 pictures of him but here's the best one.

DISNEY243.jpg

Contd. in next post

Anyways, Jungle Cruise was better than I thought it was going to be! Our skipper was really funny so Jamie and I were cracking up the entire time even if the jokes were really lame. I think 7 days of being in the sun all day was finally getting to us ;) Unfortunately that was our last ride of the day :( I could have gone another 12 hours but Jamie's family had had enough and wanted to rest before leaving the next day. On our way out though we stopped and saw some interesting things. We stopped first at the Emporium to buy a few more things. Then we stopped in the glass shop to see the glassblower guy make a really neat seaweed piece with fish all over it.

DISNEY256.jpg

We also saw these guys on the way out, I really loved their costumes!

DISNEY262.jpg

As we were leaving, I started to get really sad so I just started taking pictures of everything so I'd be able to remember how it all looked lol. I hate leaving places I love.

My last but also my favorite castle pic of the whole trip.

DISNEY274.jpg

DISNEY218.jpg

And here was our last picture together of the whole trip, waiting for our last monorail ride out of MK! :(

DISNEY270.jpg

On the way back to our townhouse, we stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things and while waiting in the parking lot, it started to rain! It didn't rain once while we were at the parks, so it was a miracle that the rain had waited for us to leave! :thumbsup2

That evening Jamie's mom was super nice and took us back to DTD to spend the rest of our money at World of Disney. I sort of had a shopping spree and bought a lot of stuff... I got a minnie mouse plush, a Princess Diary (which is so beautiful I've been forcing myself to write in it just so I can use it!), a pin lanyard and medal, charms, and other things but it's been so long I forget what else I got that night.

So that was our trip! We packed up that night and headed out early the next morning back to good old (not really) Virginia!

Thanks to everyone for reading along and being a part of my first TR!

My next and last update will include my future Disney World plans that I am so excited about!!!!!!!!

Hello to anyone who's still even reading this TR! lol I know my TR hasn't been very popular but I wanted to finish it finally with the official announcement of my future plans....

Somehow I managed to talk my (anti-Disney) parents into a week long stay....on site.....at WDW....on my 18th birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
:banana::yay::banana::yay::banana:
I was so shocked they actually agreed to it and still cannot believe I'm actually going for the second time in less than a year!!!
I've already started planning things in my head and making to do lists of what shirts to make, what we should do on what days, etc. lol I'm so excited to be able to plan my first WDW trip!!!!
Every day I've been reminding my friends and family how many days are left and yeah they hate me....but oh well! Senior year has been really tough on me so it's nice having something to look forward to now.

Here's the official details:
Where will you be staying?.......All Star Movies
When?....... March 27-April 2
Who? My parents and I
Why?...... MY 18TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I will probably start my PTR in December when it gets close to about 100 days. I may start it earlier however out of pure boredom lol. Well thanks to everyone (if theres anyone left..) for reading my first TR and I hope to see you all in my PTR!

138 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

What a great birthday present! I hope you have a great time. I really enjoyed your trip report.
I teach seniors (Economics) and I know how busy your year is. And guess what, graduation will be here before you know it! The up side of that is your trip will come faster! :)

Thank you for reading my TR! Senior year has been by far worse than junior year. It's been nice though since most of my teachers realize this and give us breaks every now and then. And your right it is already going by so quickly and I'm not complaining! :thumbsup2

Looks like you are arriving the day after I go home. I hope this time around you get to see Shang!

I have enjoyed reading your trip report....
We are heading back to "our" world in August 2011. Seems so far from now since we are expecting a good 2-4 inches of snow. YUCK.
Good Luck
Bonnie:)

That's cool and sad :( lol I hate leaving places I love. Thanks! I really hope I'll get to see him, kinda doubt it will happen though. I plan on talking to Mulan about him, maybe she can pull some strings? ;)

Thanks for reading along!! For awhile no one was commenting and it was getting a little lonely on this TR. I'm sure August will come in no time. I was just thinking about how it felt like the other day was 170 days till my trip and now its already down to 117!! Snow already? I'm jealous! hahah good luck with it though!

Great job on your trip report! It's wonderful that your parents are bringing you back for your birthday. Maybe your Dad will get the bug too and you'll get to go more often! :goodvibes

Thank you! I was shocked when my parents agreed to my idea of a birthday trip. It was so unlike them! haha I'm hoping that my Dad will catch the Disney bug eventually! As of right now whenever I mention the trip he just rolls his eyes and walks away...maybe because I talk about it everyday though....lol :rotfl:
