said my friend.....

If I could have a dollar for everytime someone says that to me, I would be a rich woman!!

At Bunco tonight I was quietly telling my partner about our upcoming surprise trip to Disney. She is somewhat of a Disney lover, so I didn't feel to bad about telling her. Then my friend, who overheard me talking says "You're going again??!!". What do ya say when people have that kind of reaction?:confused3 I just kind of smiled sweetly, shrugged my shoulders and said "yup, we love it there!"

So, I'm doing a happy dance, but after tomorrow, it will be just two months!!

 :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

Ugh, I hate when people say that! I can't wait to go again in December :) I don't dare tell anyone that I passed on a vacation to Hawaii so I could go to WDW during the Christmas season ;)
Also you are awesome to be able to keep that secret--I'd never make it :)

It looks like we are going in the same month:

64 more days, WE ARE GOING AGAIN, and again, and again, and again!!!!!:lmao:

Have a great trip!!!!

Like addicts or something.

We won't tell my parents until about 2 weeks (or less) before we go on a Disney trip. We just don't want to hear the negativity for months and months...

That way it's only two weeks before we go, they see their granddaughters so excited, that they do mellow out a little bit.

We're planning a trip with them this summer to New Orleans, but my mom refuses to plan it until we get much closer. She'll go, but she thinks we plan too far in advance. So, I just plan behind her back. :rolleyes1

Obviously, these people have either never been, or just didn't have the experience that I had! How could they understand!

OMG - I thought I was the only one getting that reaction. My co-worker tell me that all the time - and it really irritates me:mad: !!!! But I just tell them hey I'm a kid at heart....you should try it sometime - you might like it!

Same here my family never says anything, but my friends think I'm crazy :rolleyes1 their really not mean about it. But who do you think they come to when they want to plan a trip to Disney. :goodvibes And I don't know about you guys, but I love to help others plan their trips to WDW. :woohoo: I can't imagine, just going once or not at all

Us too, as far as being Dis-crazy, but it doesn't bother me a bit. I just smile and tell them we're not only going back, we're going back again and again and again. There is too much that we still have to do, and if we ever get through it all, it'll be time to start over again. We get to make ADR's tomorrow, and we're about silly with excitement just over that! It just puts us one step closer to the real thing!

Ugh, my coworker was looking through our "vacation book" at work, and asked why I was taking off so many days next December. I told her because I was going on vacation. So she asked where, and I just said Florida--not even WDW, and she said "You know there's other states right?" I told her I knew and that I had been to many of them, just really like Florida!!!--said that cause I thought of this message board right here!!! :)

Yes, jeaulous people try to ruin all our fun!!!
Or maybe they thought you were being forced (hahaha) to go.....you have no choice in the matter.....like having jury duty....or needing another operation or something......!!!!!!:dance3:

Like addicts or something.

We do the same thing. My MIL hates that we go to WDW. She asked me last time I mentioned it, "haven't you grown up yet?" So, we don't tell her when we go, ever.

I've been an addict for a long time so most people I know don't ask, "again?!?!" I guess they got it out of their system a while ago. :rotfl:

One of the things I can attribute to my job as a truck driver is that it's made me a disney park fanatic. Last month I spent a few days over at Disneyland, and even did the Holidays tour (which was really interesting!). No sooner than I was done with that home time, I started scheduling for one a month later over at WDW, which will take place in about two days.

And after this upcoming hometime, my next visit will be late March, probably a visit in the summer, and then one in December.

I'm glad I got an annual pass! :-)

I hear the same thing every time. We usually go once a year for 8-12 days. Last year we went twice - June and August, 8 days and 7 days. Man, it was great! Boy, did I hear it from friends, family and co-workers.

"There's other places in the world, you know.", "When are you going someplace besides there?", "The girls might enjoy (insert their favorite place that they go to year after year)."

Bowing to peer pressure, I even said our upcoming April trip would probably be our last for quite some time. The girls were getting older, it might be time to try some new places..... You know, words that I kinda believed myself.

I think it was yesterday, maybe the day before, I turned to my DW and said I was thinking about planning another trip for late summer before school starts. She didn't bat an eye. Just kinda smiled. Boy, am I lucky or what?

Anyhow, after a quick business trip next week, I'm going to start looking at July and August to see what we can do. I know I'll hear the same things again.

This time though, I will be strong. I'll look them in the eye and tell them that, yes, maybe it might be time to try something different if I thought we would have as much fun as we do at DW. I'm looking at going to DL in California next year.

YEs..but you probably live in the USA..Can you imagine what I hear from my friends and family, living in Brazil and paying a lot to go??This is our 8th time to WDW (and last year we went to Disneyland).. and Can´t wait to go again..
