You're daughters wear what?!?!? oh shiny!

You should see the "Adults" I see walking around with the Sweat Pants that are rolled down to just where the butt crack starts...and the short tops with the "ladys" falling out....this is what I saw at the HOSPITAL Yesterday!! :scared1: This woman was getting bloodwork done for a surgery, and was dressed like that!:headache:

i hate short shorts.

I was walking to the store with my friend she had short shorts on and some guy (looked 16 or 17ish) in the back of a truck yelled "I love your short shorts to her" made me mad she is only 14 to.

We have some that say they aren't cougars.. well there is another age range that are Pumas.

I do not have a problem with shorts or skirts that are "short" what I have a problem with is when they are too short. To me there is a difference between, okay its 100 degrees outside and I'm going to wear shorts and let's see if my butt hangs out of these shorts. I do not think they have to be fingertip length but I don't think they should show anything either. I'd feel very uncomfortable walking out of the house with my bottom hanging out of my shorts, if I want respect from people why would I dress that way? Why does anybody? Shirts that are low cut should have a tank top underneath, I don't care who you are I do not want to see that. Then there is this new "trend" wearing leggings as pants. Last time I checked leggings were meant for UNDER skirts and dresses not to show off that lovely wedgie that I definitely do not want to see. I will never understand why young women my age feel just fine dressing that way. :upsidedow

Wow, I go out for a couple of hours and come back to quite the ego boost. Thanks all of you.

You could add me to the list too(If I wasn't married and had kids). I just looked and we don't live that far from each other(no I'm not a crazy stalker).:laughing:

Just letting you know that I think you are cute!!

I may be partial but I have to say this has been the best thread hijack ever. I think I'll have to bookmark this thing for when I'm having a bad day.

The short skirts is what they are making right now. It is really hard to find a decent length skirt for girls now that they actually will wear. Unless we start making their clothes, that what they ahve to buy. No, all girls don't dress like that but my DD has those clothes... she just layers them with leggings and multiple shirts.

I think a lot of those who criticize forget what you wore when you were younger. It wasn't much different and I think I wore a lot less. My shirts for the summer, when I was 8,9,10,11, and even 12, was like a hankerchief in the front and tied around the back on the bottom and around my neck on top. Lots of strapless sundresses and open back shirts that were open down to my waist. Every age has had these clothes be "the popular" clothes at some point in their lives. the 60's had 2 and 3 yr old in dresses that didn't even cover their bottoms. I had heels in 4th grade. My Aunt had dresses that cut down to the navel in the 60's and 70's. It will pass.

I drive a school bus and I can't tell you how amazed I am each and every day to sit in my bus at the school in the afternoon and watch as all these kids come out and see how the girls are dressed. It's absolutely disgusting. But you would think that I was just talking about high school girls but just like others have said, I've seen even the elementary girls dress almost as bad. I don't have girls of my own, so I don't know what's actually available for clothes in the stores but by the looks of it, it's not pretty.

But I must say, the high school and jr high girls are BAD!!! Shirts down to there and skirts up to there. It's almost as if they barely cover what needs to be covered without getting in trouble. It's so bad that when we have emergency bus evacuation drills at the beginning of the year (ya know, walk to the back of the bus, sit on floor and scoot out) we have to "remind" the girls to make sure to NOT wear short skirts and TO WEAR UNDERWEAR. It's sad to say, we've seen plenty of girls with the short skirts and no underwear. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!!! Plus, I've also heard people saying, "WTH was the mother thinking to let her out of the house looking like that?" I can say that I have seen WAY TOO MANY TIMES, a girl get on the bus looking one way and getting off the bus looking another way. Either they wear the hoochie clothes underneath what mommy saw them wearing that morning OR had another change of clothes in their backpack and made like Hoodini and changed in the bus. It's really sad.

You went out? Hope it wasn't with a girl or your fan club might become mighty jealous.

And not that your fan club is stalking you or anything but you left your blinds open and you really need to vacuum.

::yes::::yes::::yes::

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose!

What age range is a puma? I think I would like to be a puma.
I'd love to be a "puma" Firedancer fan, but I am firmly in "cougar" territory. *sigh*

My DD is still young, but I was at a Bar Mitzvah this weekend and those 13-year old girls! Oh. My. Goodness. It's hard to believe that my own sweet DD is only 3 years away! Very scary. I think I'll keep her occupied with competitive swimming. Yeah, that's the ticket!

You're funny! :lmao: No wonder you have so many tags!

I totally agree. Unfortunately there's photographic evidence of me wearing skin tight jeans worn thru in the butt, tube tops, and platform shoes. I didn't think I was doing my job as a teen, if the parents weren't complaining about my outfit.
