Music is playing and without realizing it, you start to dance.  The problem is that I really liked the songs playing, but I've no idea who is singing or the title of the songs. :confused3 :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

Anyway, I spent hours on iTunes trying to figure out the titles of the songs and singers, but I had no luck at all. :confused3 :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: Does that happen to anyone else?

oh yeah! I have a tendency to shake my groove thing while listening to shopping radio

Ummmmmm nooooo :confused3

Are you suggesting that I'm  ? :teeth:

Bridget, I have two finals to study for, I'm procrastinating. :woohoo: :woohoo: I have to read two more chapters for one of the classes and the book is sooooooo boring, I can only read it early in the day and when I'm alert.

Well, it was your dumb idea to go back to school. Too late to complain now! ;)

I sing - and not very well... :rolleyes1

yeah. But I always dance. Its nothing new for me.

So, do you remember any of the lyrics. I'm usually pretty good at this. I can try to find the song for you.

I wish, it was more than one song. If I heard them again, I'd recognize them. Thanks for the offer.

BTW, have you seen the Budweiser commercial with that funky song? Anyway, one of the lines is "don't hold back". I like that song, so I decided to research it further. I found out that the song is Galvanize by The Chemical Boys.

I don't dance in stores, but I always become self conscious, because I start walking, swaying, and strutting, to the beat of the song.

OMG...so funny, when my DS was in high school he was in what was called SHOW CHOIR. They competed at high schools all over New England. We were at one event in Spring 1997 and one high school group sang this song that I had never heard (as I figured it was new and I would hear it 1000x after that) and LOVED IT!!!
Well after the event, weeks, months and even years passed and I almost so rarely, ever so rarely would hear the song and I was ALWAYS alone, so of course I could not say to my DS' or any of their friends.."what is the name of that song?"...well fast forward now almost 10 years and I heard it on the radio at my auto mechanic's place while I was getting my oil changed and DS' DGF was with me when it came on..."OMG, Diana, what is the name of that song?"...well seeing she just graduated college with a Music degree of course she knew...the song is called "WHAT'S UP" by "FOUR NON BLONDES"....I love it and of course it was a one hit wonder from 1996!!!!!!! So finally, after almost 10 long years, Diana has finally named that song for me!!!!

Anyone ever hear of it??? Anyone like it???

'Back in the day' (late '70s/early '80s) I was a club DJ, playing a lot of alternative rock stuff, that has now become the new Musak for our generation. Unfortunately, old habits are hard to break, and I always sang along in the DJ booth...so if you see an old man wandering thru a store singing along with Romeo Void, or the Stranglers, or Siouxsie and the Banshees, it's probably me! Just elbow me in the ribs to hush me up... :teeth:

I used to. When I actually liked dancing to the music they played. Now, most of it just doesn't move me anymore. ;)

I still do that. I hear a song and love it then have to find out who it is. I ask my husband and if he doesn't know, I call my little brother. He usually knows all the weird songs that I end up liking.

Remember that song on the VW commercial awhile back? DaDaDa? It took me forever to find that one. My kids love it too!

Okay, so does that make me crazy?
