Tusker House - Only been here for breakfast but the buffet is great

There are others that we really like but these 5 seems to be the ones we frequent most often.

1. Tusker House- it's unique without being too over the top
2. Crystal Palace- Love the characters and the food wasn't bad
3. Mama Melrose-just good food and service
4. Raglan Road- we have never eaten anything bad there
5. Cape May- just liked the dinner buffet..
Those were all my choices. Here's my mom's:
1. Raglan Road-she just likes it.
2.The Plaza- rootbeer floats and it was the first Disney Place we ate at
3. Tusker House- its different from other buffets
4.Crystal Palace-the characters come to you
5.Tony's -just be careful with the service.

I am going to throw in that Wolfgang Pucks Express is GREAT for a CS!!!

Victoria & Albert's - one of the finest dining experience ever.
Bistro de Paris - excellent food & wine
Jiko - fine dining with an african twist
Artist Point - attractive setting and wonderful food
Sanaa - exceptional Indian food.

Do I only get to choose 5?
Here they are:

1. Biergarten...my all-time favorite...LOVE German food the beer is amazing and the entertainment is awesome!
2. Kouzzina...went there last minute and so glad we did!
3. Kona Cafe...LOVED dinner there...delicious food, bread and macadamia nut butter is very unique and delicious, and they have the best coffee at WDW (and possibly the rest of the world except...well...the real Kona, Hawaii!)
4. Chefs de France...delicious food, excellent service, beautiful restaurant!
5. 50s Prime Time...the food was great, but the entertainment was just too funny! DH and I both got picked on, and we loved it...our 2 sons loved it even more!

I love all the Disney restaurants I have been to! There are only a couple we won't be going back to, but not because they were bad, just because they weren't as special as the others, and there are other places we would like to try instead. We haven't been to any signatures yet (except for CRT), but we plan to try a couple on our next trip!

DW and I aren't 'frou-frou'--no goat's anus tartare or fillet of squirrel in a white wine reduction for us--so our choices may not be yours. That said:

1) Le Cellier--one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. And you know the joke--'what's the difference between a Canadian and a canoe? Canoes can tip'? Chelsea got near 30% and she earned it.

2) Boma--wonderful, flavourful food that's just far enough off the beaten path to be interesting.

3) Trail's End--wasn't expecting much here and was very pleasantly surprised. The fried chicken is several cuts above what's normally found on a buffet.

4) Olivia's--the service was actually a little *too* attentive, but the food was very good. The potatoes in particular.

5) Raglan Road--wish I'd seen this place a little later in the evening. Delicious food, again a notch above what I was expecting.

O'hana - I'd go just for the appetizer and dessert...but gosh, that shrimp....

Boma - It's so cool to try all of the stuff here. Oh..and ZEBRA DOMES.

50s Prime Time - don't ask me why, but I really liked the food here.

Rose and Crown - OUTSTANDING fish and chips. We were surprised how much we liked the food last time.

Le Cellier - the pretzel bread and steaks are really good. Also good service here.

I've never been to Victoria and Albert's, but I do really want to try it sometime. Gotta save those pennies.

Also, um, I've never seen goat anus tartar or fillet of squirrel on a WDW menu...

4. Biergarten - everything here is great!
5. Fultons Crab House - (for lunch) lobster roll, crab and lobster bisque,and seafood cobb salad!

Jiko - it has it all: amazing ambiance, outstanding service, and unique food
Yachtsman - superb service and darn good steaks
Boma - love being able to try lots of different things I can't get anywhere else
Tusker House breakfast - 2 words: mealie pap (and the characters ain't bad, either)
California Grill - the view makes everything taste even better!

My top picks, in order, are:

1. Boma (great buffet, different foods, love the soups, gorgeous AKL atmosphere)

2. Artist Point (mmmm... the salmon and buffalo, great portobello mushroom soup, love the boat ride from MK to WL after a hectic day!)

3. Flying Fish (love spending the evening on the boardwalk, some of the freshest, best seafood in the World, beautiful presentations, great wine selection)

4. California Grill (fantastic views of the fireworks, the pork dish is divine, great sushi, awesome service and wine)

5. 'Ohana (just a lot of fun, and my husband loooooves the all-you-can-eat meat!!!)


Boma and Artist Point are must-dos for us, even if it's a short trip!

1. California Grill- my absolute favorite, go back every year (just love EVERYTHING about it!)

2. Wolfgang Puck Cafe (great sushi!)

3. Brown Derby (love the cobb salad!...And Conundrum white wine)

4. Big River Brewing Works (b/c I love the selection of home brewed beer and it's a simple menu with something for everyone)

5. Garden View Tea Room (for lunch it's perfect & relaxing. Have a cup of tea or glass of chamgpagne with finger sandwhiches or a cheese and fruit plate! And if ur lucky like I was watch a bride go by the window in a horse drawn carriage!)

Once, I sampled pigeon. It was in a French cooking school, and it was quite delicious. Is that frou-frou, or street food??
