I figured we could use this page to mention our 5 favorite books about Disney. Maybe we could point each other in the direction of a good book.

My top 5 Disney books, in no particular order:

"Prince Of The Magic Kingdom" (An early-90s book about the Eisner regime at the Walt Disney Company up to that time)

"Keys To The Kingdom: How Michael Eisner Lost His Grip" (A book written in 2000, detailing the problems Disney went through during the rest of the 90s)

"Tinker Belles And Evil Queens: The Walt Disney Company From The Inside Out" (An interesting examination of Disney and its meaning to gay people)

"Waking Walt" (A great piece of fiction that plays around with the idea of a frozen Walt Disney being thawed out to prevent a hostile takeover of the company)

"Storming The Magic Kingdom" (The tale of the corporate fight for Disney)

Let's see, I like these books a lot:

1) Inside Disney : the Incredible Story of Walt Disney World and the Man Behind the Mouse by Eve Zibart

2) The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World by Bob Sehlinger

3) Walt Disney World for Couples With or Without Kids by Rick and Gayle Perlmutter

4) Disney: The First 100 Years by Dave Smith et al

5) Since the World Began: Walt Disney World the First 25 Years by Jeff Kurtti

And yes, I actually enjoy reading guidebooks, LOL!

Both are a "inside" look at Disneyland. The second one touches a bit at WDW, but there is ALOT of great info in there about things.
