Hey All!

Everyone loves to save some money right? So what are your top BUDGET finds when you came to this forum? I really do get alot of good ideas when coming here. I'll go first, this is my all time Budget Find:

SEARS laundry detergent - 180 loads $11.99! AWESOME stuff. This saved us alot of money because I was always buying CHEER or some other cheap detergent and it would only last us 2 weeks at most. The Sears laundry detergent, last a good 3-4 MONTHS!

Thanks Budget Board!

NEXT???? lol

Dollar store pregnancy tests! They really work...just ask the baby in my belly.:)

Off the top of my head?

$5 crocs from Cabela's
Dollar store preg tests
Warning when My Coke Rewards had southwest and subway giftcards
free dress up costumes mailed by a generous dis'ser
Windsor Hills!

Mousesavers for tickets, car rental
Dis for sharing when park tickets are going up
A Diser for sharing when NWA airlines had tickets $44 one way IND to MCO
Timeshare store for resales
Diser for sharing lots of good clearance sales and more

Sometimes I feel like the Budget board gets me spend money rather than save. It's always hard to turn down a good deal. ;)Ok, here goes:

DSi for my daughter for $129 through Dell
Lands End down jacket on clearance for $35(orig. $120)
Fiestaware plates $25 a set through Kohl's.

I'm sure there will be more in the future!

Some of these are repeats from what others have already posted:

Sears (powdered) laundry detergent. It's the best detergent ever in my front loader, and it's cheap...and occasionally it goes on sale for about 1/2 off which makes it even more of a good buy.

Dollar Tree pregnancy tests.

Learning about Mousesavers.com.

Learning about condo's in the Orlando area.

Maclaren strollers on eBay through the seller babyproductstore.

Hi! That's the one that was recommended on this forum. It was half price $11.99 TOTAL and it's awesome.

Does Mousesavers SAVE you money also? I never tried them.

Thanks for the replies! I enjoyed reading everyones' responses. If anyone else has anymore "BUDGET BUSTERS" feel free to post them.

One of my favorites was when Barnes and Noble had a magazine subscription to Red Book for $.88 a year. I bought a year and in the first issue there was a coupon for $1.00 off a product I always buy. So the magazine paid for itself in 1 issue! Great deal.

Crocs sale- Mary Janes for $7.99 with free shipping!

Disney Mix Stick for $6.99 on Amazon

I'm sure there is more, I just can't think of them!

Gosh! Where to start....??!!! I have been on these boards for several years now.....

POP fridge swap. Photopass share.
Just this week I found Harry Potter tshirts at WalMart (Universal Studios thread) for our upcoming trip to WWofHP. $2 each!
A lot of ideas and not necessarily products: Mousesavers, Sunshine Rewards, best budget meals inside the parks, Disney Give a Day, Great Wolf Lodge codes, cruise and hotel deals, renting car deals, store sale alerts, etc.

I have saved HUNDREDS of dollars from the budget board, and the rest of disboards. I LOVE you guys!!!!:lovestruc:grouphug:

Is the SEARS detergent only for front loaders, or can I use in on my old fashioned washer? :)

You can use it in either one, although it's marked HE. It's especially formulated to be low-sudsing though, so don't expect to see a lot of suds in the water. (That doesn't effect cleaning ability at all.) It seems to go on sale around holidays usually, and that's when I stock up on it.

The biggest and most meaningful is the THOUSANDS of dollars saved, thanks to the BB leading me to Dave Ramsey.

... Love all the free photobooks I got last fall too!

1. Kohls 30% off codes to use online
2. Restaurant . com (Great when there are 80% off savings)
3. House party . com (Even though I have been getting rejected lately)
4. ChaCha (I used to make lots of money doing this)
5. Weekly Freebies thread (Thank you Baby)

Ther have been some good deals on victorias secret and BBW too.

I'd say all mine have to be crocs. DD has 14 pairs in larger sizes all for super cheap. I've not got more than $10 in each pair with most being in the $5-8 range. People ask me how I can afford 4 colors in every size and I'm like "let me tell you about the sale I heard about...".

Is the houseparty.com worth all the hassle and all the junk mail/emails you may get? Just curious. I went to go sign up and paused because it states about sharing your personal information. Guess that would be nothing new though, huh?
