Your top 5-10 restaurants

This is a fun thread, but I think it would be more interesting if posters also said a quick word on how much dining they've done at Disney. After all, if you've "only" tried 20 different restaurants (which imho is a lot!), then giving your top 10 doesn't say as much as if you've tried 30 of them and eaten at many of them multiple times. I'm curious to know if there is any consensus among the true Disney cognoscenti about which places are truly the best of the best.

Also, I find that the signature restaurants are just plain better and more expensive, so I don't think it's fair to compare them against the non-sigs. For those of you who've tried them all, is there one that you'd say is "the" best? (not counting V&A of course)

For non-sigs, I've tried approx 15 (still extant) places, and my top 3 would be Teppan Edo, Boma, and The Wave.

Impressive record keeping. :worship:

I'm curious what it is that you like so much about Puck Express. I think it's a great place to go when passing through O'Hare, but I've never really considered going to the one at DTD.

I think we are at 25 to 30 trips, and we like to eat. Our current favorites, somewhat in order:

Flying Fish
Il Mulino
California Grill
Wolfgang Puck
La Cava
Sanaa
La Hacienda (only if they still have the Fire Margarita)
Boma
Artist Point (DH loved his mean there, mine was ok)

I think we really need to try Citrico's. :worship:

Ok the times at each restaurant is by memory, the one times are on the mark, the other estimates are mostly on the low side, those are just the times I remember.

What I like about WPE, well I haven't had a bad meal there, everyone in the family can find something they really enjoy. The meals use fresh ingredients, there is a large variety, you can get a "real" meal there quickly, and the prices are good for the quality and quantity of food served. A bonus is it is a counter service on the dining plan, but that doesn't mean we won't pay out of pocket. We went twice on our last visit without the plan. Oh and as an aside you can get a discount with AAA or AP, and sometimes Costco sells discounted gift certificates, although we have never purchased them yet. (you just reminded me to look for them for our next trip, Thank you)

California Grill (because of the view and sushi)
Narcoossee's (because of the lobster)
Citricos (because of the food)
Victoria & Alberts (because of the experience and food)
Tutto Italia (because I'm Italian and also like to talk with the staff)
San Angel Inn (because I enjoy the atmosphere and watching the boats go by)
There are plenty more, but these came to mind first!

I enjoyed Mara while I was staying at AKL, too! It was good food and great for a quick snack while lounging in the room or by the pool!
