I thought it would be interesting to start a thread listing your top 4 favorite table service meals.
We are going end of OCT first of NOV and I can't decide where I want to go and we want to try new experiences.
We are a family of 3 with a 5 year old daughter and we're taking my DH 73 year old mother who went for the first time in December.

1) Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge
2) Princess storybook dining in Norway at Epcot
3) 1900 and Park Fare with Cindrella and friends
4) France at Epcot (can't think of the name)

hmm - well, 1900 is a buffet - so probably not considered TS - but I've never done the Dining Plan, so I may not know all the categories.

As far as the best places to eat, I'd say:
Victoria and Albert's
California Grill

Then, for atmosphere
Chefs de France
Restaurant Marrakesh

Nothing more quality and straightforward than the Grand Floridian Cafe for any meal...

Easy for me - and buffets count as ts. Tops is Brown Derby followed quickly by Narcoosees, Boma, and California Grill. My favorite way to do it is to plan to eat BD as part of the Fantasmic package, time Naroosees so I am ready for dessert when they close down food service, dim the lights, pipe in the music and everyone troops out to the gazebo on the lakie to watch Wishes over the water. Trust me your DM will love that. And I like to time CG so I can watch Tinkerbell fly down from the castle.... I love a little magic with my dinners.

1. California Grill
2. Crystal Palace
3. Tony's Town Square on Main Street USA
4. Artist Point

The California Grill is simply one of my favorite restaurants anywhere, and would be based on the faboo food and atmosphere (not to mention service), but watching the fireworks from either the table or the balcony is so special that it puts the CG into its own category for me.

The Crystal Palace is a buffet restaurant, of course, but belongs strongly to any WDW trip for me -- I just love it!

Tony's is on my list partly on its own merits and partly out of sentiment -- I always wanted to eat there as a child, but my family never wanted to splurge on it. When I planned my first family-free trip as an adult, it was the first PS I made (this was before there were ADRs, back when the saber-toothed tiger roamed Florida).

And Artist Point made it ahead of other personal favorites like Brown Derby and the Flying Fish Café simply because of the glorious memory of the planked salmon.

But where do Boma and Portbello Yacht Club fit in here? I'd try to figure it out, but suddenly I'm completely starving ...

1. Artist Point
2. Jiko
3. Citricos
4. Chefs de France

This would be a great question to ask on the Dining Board as opposed to the Theme Parks board. You'll probably get more responses.

1) Jiko
2) Artist's Point
3) California Grill
4) Mama Melrose

1) Kona Cafe
2) Raglan Road
3) Wispering Canyon
4) Narccoossee's

Just back from my first trip....
1. Kona for dinner
2. Crystal Palace - breakfast
3. Boma - breakfast
4. Cape May Cafe - breakfast

Usually booked 10:30 am for breakfast - worked very well for us - didn't need any lunch - just grabbed dinner wherever we wanted.

Didn't like the counter food at CBR.

Le Cellier in Canada
Boma - Breakfast
1900 Park Fare
Akerhus - Princess Dinner - We found the food quite good

I did 8 ts service, and I actually LOVED 2 of them...

Ohana's (Polynesian)
LeCellier in Canada (Epcot)

I also really enjoyed Boma, but don't know if I would go back, so that is my number 3 if I needed a number 3.

As far as number 4, who knows. None of the places I ate at while I was there!

Victoria and Albert's
California Grille
Narcoosee's
Yachtman's Steakhouse

Gettin hungry just thinking about it. :teeth:

I have not dined at all of the restaurants that others have experienced, but here goes:

California Grill
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Kona Cafe
CRT luncheon, not for the food, which was good, but because the memory of DGD with all of her Princesses has me enchanted :cloud9: still. Must be something about dining in a castle with royalty.

Ooh this is hard!

1) 'Ohana
2) Jiko
3) Yachtsman Steakhouse
4) Beaches & Cream! - I just love the whole burger/onion rings/ice cream set! :goodvibes

Very tough question.....

CA Grill
Artist Point
Flying Fish
Le Cellier

Top Four Places:

Cape May Cafe
Crystal Palace - Breakfast
1900 Park Fare - Breakfast & Dinner
Fulton Crab House
