Your top 3 Counter service Desserts???

Basically, if it's not prepackaged then it's good.

Sunshine Seasons is your best bet for desserts, as you can watch them make the desserts right there, and it's one of the few places that don't have prepacked desserts.

Stay away from the Peanut Butter Brownie Mousse and the Triple Chocolate Cake that come in the individual packs, they are terrible when compared to the other, better, Disney-made desserts.

Some of these CS desserts can also be purchase as snacks :thumbsup2

Here are mine:

Wolfgang Pucks Express - Carrot Cake
Sunshine Seasons - Strawberry Short Cake
Kringla Bakeri - School Bread

where in each park can you get one of the big ice cream sandwhiches???

 Did the OP mean the hand-made ones? And are they still available on mainstreet? (the Plaza, or MS bakery? ) I never had one. i was totally sidetracked by the stand next to Ariels Grotto and Dumbo w/ their frozen Cokes and warm muffins :cloud9:

Anything from France, Schoolbread from Norway, Dole Whip Float at MK, D'oh Bar at DTD (Cooke's), Carrot cookie sandwich (Writer's Workshop) DHS, anything smothered in chocolate and rolled in candy at Goofy's (DTD)

I think I'm going to sound stupid now, but I thought I had read somewhere on here (can't get the search to work) about ice cream in a sink or something along those lines?

I'm not making it sound too attractive but when I read about ti, i remember thinking it sounded great and wouldn't mind trying that?

Am i right or am i going loopy, if I am right where do you get them from??

:confused3

Main Street Bakery has the big icecream cookie sandwiches. You choose the cookie type and icecream flavor. I got white choc macademia nut with vanilla! Also counts as a snack credit on ddp!

No, you're not loopy. It's called the Kitchen Sink and you can get it at Beaches & Cream. It's huge and has everything in it, cookies, candy, cake, chocolate sauce, etc. a ton of whipped cream. We surprised my gd with one and we shared it with the six of us and still couldn't finish it.

Tricia1972 ... just left you a PM on wherr to find Dole Whips!

Got the PM Thanks!

I knew about Aloha Isle - that's where I usually get mine. I didn't know about Captin Cooks as a CS dessert at the Poly.

I was confused originally because I thought that you were saying that they're a CS dessert in the MK. I couldn't imagine how I missed that. :goodvibes

For CS desserts you can't beat Starring Rolls in DHS. Beautiful tarts and pastries.

Can't wait to try the CS mango tart at Yak n Yeti in AK

Boardwalk Bakery had some great desserts. I loved the Banana Split Cake, but I know not everyone does.

Yes! Sooo good! We took a couple of pieces of the Banana Split Cake (among other things) back to our villa, and my BIL and DS had a fork fight over the last bits - and neither of them are big dessert eaters. I was bought off with a custard-filled chocolate eclair. I'm easy.
