Your thoughts please----what do you think about these dates?

I am a FL resident and my sister, daughter and I are planning a quick weekend trip. Do you have any thoughts about us going January 27th-29th? Anyone been during that time? Any large groups or major events going on then? Crowds?? Thanks in advance!

I'm going in January. I will be attending a Children's Pastors Conference that's beening held at Coronado Springs Jan. 24-28. I know they are allowing convention attendees to check in up to 3 days early or stay 3 days afterwards in incorporate a vacation. I will be there just for the conference. I'm hoping to work in some park time, but it will be minimal. I don't think this group will make a huge impact on park attendance.

I have been at that time with my brother a few years ago. I recall the place ws very quiet waiting in lines. We had a long wait once at Splash Mountain, but apart from that it was great. I went February last year and it was also very quiet. I hear Jan-Early March is quiet compared the the rest of the year.
