How does your school work? I mean friends wise. Is it like everyone is friends, or are you all in seperate cliques who don't really talk with anyone except for your friends? Are the popular kids a certain group, or just some kids who just made themselves the popular group? How does your school run? Discuss.

Um well everyone just talks and hangs out with their friends.

If someone is friends with a girl who is popular then they hang out.
I guess there is "groups" that hang out with each other but a lot of kids are friends with people in different groups.

The popular kids just are popular because everyone knows them.

I hope that made sense. lol

I don't know. I'm starting a new school this year.

Last year I was like one of three outcasts. The other two were mean but I tried to make friends with them. One was mean and the other was really annoying.. I would have stayed her friend, though, if she knew what shampoo was. I mean, I'm sorry, but her hair was really gross and it reaked.

I had friends in the beginning of the year, but around March they started getting really preppy and I'm just a total random geek who doesn't care if people think I'm ******** in school.

Even my best friend, who's a grade ahead of me, said that she would have cried if she had been in my grade because there was not one non-preppy kid in the ENTIRE 6th grade except for me pretty much, and a handful of mean goth kids. And my friend's a huge geek, too. We hate preps.

Well at my old school...

There was basically the popular people, and the goths. Pretty much everyone in school were friends, except the "gothic" people made a little group because they were too cool I guess to have tons of friends.

You don't have to wear Abercrombie to be popular. You don't have to look like a toothpick. The smart kids, the joks, the cheerleaders, the regular no-name kids, they were all just friends.

Maybe other people would have a different view point of my school, but this is mine.

In my school its really tight.
There are only 40 kids in the grade, so its closer but there are only three groups.
Popular
In the middle
Unpopular
Simple as that. I'm in the middle because I've got friends of both. Popular is basically these 3 or 4 "center of attention" girls...I'd rather have fun and hang out with my friends than act and show off for a living.

my school is like that to. a new high school was just built so my friends and i are getting split up cuz of the boundraies. :sad1: i am the only one going to the new high school

We have seperate groups. There's the preps...the skaters...the emo kids......

Then there's me and my friends. I've deemed us, "the group of kids every other group threw out."

As far as my actual friends go, they vary greatly.

I have...punk friends, preppy friends, sporty friends..and just...average friends.

Idk, what to call me. I'm just average I guess. I'm part of like all the stereotypes.

Mostly cliques. Especially with the popular girl who is friends with all the guys. She is really mean though.:sad2:

At my old school (I can't tell you anything about my HS, because I haven't gone there yet) yes, there were definately groups of friends, but they weren't like 'OMG NOT TALKING 2 U BECAUSE YOU UGLY'.
Obviously not everybody is friends, but there wasn't really any people who enjoyed being mean..
And the groups couldn't be named by a label. Because there would be quite a few different people in that group.
But, there were two groups that had so many people in them we just called them the 'NAME's. So one person would represent their group.
I mean, they weren't popular and we weren't going to list all like 20 of their names everytime we brought them up.

My class is pretty small, and we've all known each other since kindergarten or before, so we're pretty much all nice to each other. Of course there's cliques, but it's not to the severity of the cliques in Mean Girls, lmao.

And for my school as a whole... well, if you're a freshman, you're absolutely despised. You're gonna have to wait till sophomore year to try and make friends with the upperclassmen. Once you get past freshman year, all the upperclassmen are really nice, too. Although there's always a group of guys, usually juniors, that are total a-holes. But other then that my school is nice. :p

In my school we've just pretty much gotten to know everyone. You talk to all of the people you like, and avoid the other people. The people you talk to the most are your group.

my school is less cliquier than other people think, but more than I think it is.
we have 220-some people in our class. and we all know each other.
there are certain people most people don't like.
but otherwise, we're mostly friends.
but if the "group" doesn't like you, then they don't talk to you.
but if they do (as in the case of me) they sometimes talk to me. we're not gonna hang out or anything, but they'll atleast be civil about it.

well in my Cluster last year, everyone was like a big family, I knew everyone and talked to everyone, most of the time the popular girls were jealous of me. I had my own friends we were all pretty smart because we were all in the same classes, but I was really close with some popular girls. and the boys were another story, some of the boys I was really close with, one was my next door neighbor, and 1 of his friends, I know really well, and the popular boys, I was blessed to have at least one in every single one of my classes, but everyone was really friendly. except some of the girls I didn't hang out with, they were doing really bad in school and they were terribly mean to eatchother

ok my school is either
bottom / nerds like 10%
middle // 70%
cool peeeps at de top 20 %
i chill wit middle peeps and cool peeps we dont really have cliqus like everyone can chill wit who ever they want but eveyrone likes therre groups lol

Well at my school, people who dont go to parties are not liked by the "preppy, im so hot" girls and "dude get down wit it" guys.

That's all.

I thought the weirdest thing was last year was that the popular girls in my cluster were jealous of me and my clothes and all my stuff. it's was really weird.

Oh. Don't get me started.

It's not like Jocks, Cheerleaders.

It's more like:

THE FOOD CHAIN
*All the popular people
**The popular people's groupies (AKA Followers)
***The normal people who just kinda hang with their friends
****The loners (AKA people who join clubs like Newspaper, Yugio, etc.)
