It has been a long time since I was at WDW or DL.
Please LMK...
1) how many days do you think are needed
I am thinking 4
Park Hopping??

2) what DL hotels you prefer that are close enough to walk to the parks/downtown.

4 People, not opposed to 2 rooms/suite
I don't want a dump but also don't necessarily need/want 5 star.
Last time I was there the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn was decent but not sure anymore or if something else is better/cost to quality.

Thanks for your opinions!

3 days would be enough to do all the rides with 2 days at DL and 1 at DCA, but my family usually likes to have 4 days so that we can ride favorites multiple times and catch different shows like Fantasmic, fireworks on Main Street, fireworks in Galaxy's Edge, and World of Color.

Generally, I consider any of the hotels around the Convention Center and closer to be within comfortable walking distance. My family stayed at the Springhill Suites on the Harbor/Katella corner for our first DL visit and thought it was pretty nice. There are always fans of Candy Cane Inn, Best Western, Howard Johnson, the Anaheim Hotel, and others. But since you don't go often, if you can swing it, there's still nothing to me that can beat any of the Disney hotels, all of which are on the west side of the parks but easily within walking distance (plus easy monorail access).

OH! Can I pick your brain? We have 2 days hopper passes with Multi Lightening Lane. Plus we will be going to an Oogie Boogie Bash. Is that going to hit the highlights? We have been to WDW 20 times, so anything that is a duplicate, we will hold off on until we're sure we have time. We are staying at the Hyatt at the Convention Center. They tell us it's an 8 minute walk to the Toy Story parking lot. How does all of that sound? Please and Thank You!!
