What are your favorite areas?

Most importance:

1. Quiet/Peaceful. View of lake would be most ideal.

2. Distance from Bus

We will have a preferred room, so guess we'll be fairly close to bus anyway? We don't even mind walking that far but don't want it to be ridiculously far from the transportation. Thank you for any advice!

OK, was kind of wondering that too. Hmm. The resort's size isn't that big right? I'm wondering if any walk is that bad? Thanks for feedback!

I’ve only stayed at Pop once -have another stay coming in September - but I do not remember any walks being bad.

Of course I live in NYC and walk pretty much everywhere, so my idea of “bad” is a bit skewed from people with cars. :D

80's is my Favorite. You can cross the parking lot to get to the buses quick.

I prefer staying in the 60's so it's a short walk to the main hall, transportation and to the bridge to AoA. Plus, Baloo and Mowgli are fun to see each day. (Oversized icons in front of one of the buildings in that area)

Not sure if with a preferred room you'd even have the opportunity to stay lake side.

Personally I prefer to spend less by getting a standard room and be able to request my favorite spot.

I request 50's section, lake view.
The way POP's layout is none of the rooms are terribly far from the bus stop.

I like the 70's for preferred rooms. Very short walk to Classic Hall and buses. None of the preferred rooms are lake view though.

We just stayed in the 80's section, building 9. We were facing the parking lot. We had no noise from the parking lot, computer pool was immediately behind our building, and very short walk across the parking lot to the busses, Everything POP and Hippie Dippy Pool. It was a standard room, and I felt it was a great location!

I stay in 2 different areas depending on who I am at DW with. My husband likes building 8 because of the short walk across the parking lot to the bus stops. My friend from NJ likes building 6 because of the short walk to Classic Hall. I am good with either one so no problems for me!
