Your opinions, please

In an effort to keep our readers up to date on the latest WDW information, the Unofficial Guide may start posting "park updates" two or three times a month. These updates would contain a summary of the park hours, including parades and fireworks performances, plus any ride rehabs we know of. It'll also include hours for Downtown Disney, Pleasure Island, and the like.

As this information takes a bit of time to enter, I'd like your opinions on two things:

1) Is the information useful?

2) If it's useful, is it in a friendly format? Is there any other information you'd like to see listed there?

I know I would use it. There's a lot of very useful info all right there and easy to read. How would one get to it? Would you link from here or its own URL? I would like to see some of the acts at PI, HOB and places where you may need advance tickets listed. Good job, thanks

do you have a list of rides that are closed for rehab
you could include that list and how long they will be down
I know that info is out there somewhere it's a matter of finding it when I need it.

Hi, Len!

I think it is great! I would absolutely use that info, and if you decide to make it a constant feature then I will be a frequent visitor to the site to nail down the details of our trip Oct. 15-21.

I like the format and I found it very easy to follow. By going in small time increments (two weeks) I think it will be easier for folks to track changes and feel confident that the hours are accurate.

GREAT JOB! I am still toting my 2005 UG around every day. As soon as we came home in January I knew we HAD to go back! Hence the October trip...

We love the Unofficial Guide and read it before every trip as a refresher. We often use the touring plans and which parks to visit which day as a guide when planning our itinerary. I love the link you provided and think it's very helpful. I replaced my 2004 version with the 2005 before our trip last December just for the crowd level info. and "which park" info. I felt like I wasted my money doing that after Disney announced their new EM hours, though. This link changes that and now I can use it to plan our fall trip. I also bought the UG for a friend who is visiting in March, so I'll be sure to send her the link!
