Your opinions on crowds and time of day, please

After looking at the "best days" to go to different parks, I am wondering if the crowd size is mostly at a certain time of day or all day. It almost seems to me that it may be just the a.m.'s since that is the early park for the day, and that maybe crowds in the afternoon tend to go to the later opening park.

Any opinions? I'm trying to figure out which park to go to in the a.m. after EE days.

Time of year is more influential than time of day, but after 11am does seem to be the point at which the parks get quite busy, and they stay that way until at least after that park's parade.

If you plan to leave the EE park when the crowds show up, try going to the park that had EE the day before.

I agree with cleo... between lunchtime and 4:00 is what I think is the busiest... that's why we always leave the parks by noon!!!

Well, I just got back yesterday, and the parks were definately more crowed in the afternoon. We hit the parks as early as possible and had virtually no waits until about 11:00. By 1:00 the parks were much more crowded and we usually left the parks by 2:00 to go back to the resort and rest. The only EE day we did was Magic Kingdom on Thurs. which was wonderful. There were so many characters out signing autographs and the park was not crowded at all.

About what Cleo said, "try going to the park that had EE the day before", looking at the "Best Day" advice, it still puts the park with EE as a crowded park the next day. That's why I was wondering about what time of day they are talking about.

I do agree with you all that it's best to leave a park around 11:00, if you don't want to fight the crowds.

We just got back on Sat. night. We spent most of the day in the parks and the only one we found really crowded was MK on a Sun. Early morning until about 11:00am was okay, most rides were a walk on (5 min wait time). Kids wanted to hit Space Mountain again in the afternoon (around 2pm) and wait was 35 mins. We got FP for an hour later return and it still took them 20 minutes. All in all, attendance really seems to be down for this time of year (nice for us, we did twice as much as what we had expected to do because no waiting).
