Your Opinion for the Most Relaxing Ride?

Another vote for TTA, we ride it at least 4 times each visit to the Magic Kingdom.

i had a business trip to disney world last november and had exactly three hours to myself to check out the parks when i first arrived, so i dropped my bags in my room and high tailed it to mk, and the first ride i got in line for was haunted mansion. the last time i'd been on it was in 1977, when i was 8 but it had left such an indelible impression on me! second ride was pirates of the caribbean. then i tried to hit the jungle cruise, but the wait time was too long so i speed toured the swiss family robinson treehouse and headed back to my hotel.

i'm really excited for my son to visit the haunted mansion for his first time (he's 8) in may!!!

I always get bummed out when people hate on the Enchanted Tiki Room. I love it! It's one of the first attractions I really remember seeing ('73 or '74), so there's the nostalgia factor. It's such a classic Disney attraction and it doesn't get the love it deserves.

My other "relaxing ride" is the Haunted Mansion. You know Disney did something really right when people still love an attraction that's over 40 years old. It's the ONE ride at WDW that I must experience every time I'm there. Nothing else is close.

Most relaxing for us is TTA followed up by Carousel of Progress. It calms all three of us. Sometimes we get off of TTA and get right back on or we get off of TTA, hit Carousel of Progress and go right back to TTA. :cloud9:

Our happy place though is Philharmagic. We should probably be in a 12 step program for that show. We see it multiple times every visit to MK.

My kids and I love TTA. LOVE. IT. DH, however, has never been on it.

But yeah, me and the kids always jump on TTA when we need a few minutes to relax.

Ellen's Energy Adventure! I was so relaxed the last time I went on it I think I managed to doze off for a few minutes. :rolleyes1

Hmm... let's see. I'll try for one at each park

MK: Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Epcot: Living with the Land, or Spaceship Earth, or Three Cabaleros (sp?)
Hollywood Studios: Not really a ride, but Animation Academy
Animal Kingdom: Kilimanjaro Safari

The Mexican Boat Ride-Gran Fiesta, Living with the Land, and Carousel of Progress

I have a number of them but guess TTA gets my vote for the MK one....

For me that would be The Carousel of Progress in The Magic Kingdom. At Epcot it would be The American Adventure.

Peoplemover is the most relaxing for me. You can eat lunch and you can stay on it for multiple turns- if there's no line... and there rarely is.

Carousel of Progress is that show that I can catch some Zzzs. They don't care if you fall asleep.

TTA is the most relaxing ride to me. However, when it's really hot, DH and I have both occasionally napped on CoP and Spaceship Earth.

Railroad and Liberty Square Riverboat give you shade and a nice breeze and its just nostalgic of wdw. It sound weird but the shootin arcade in Frontierland also calms me. I think its because you have to focus on the target and it takes your mind off everything crazy around you.
