Time to put together a "presentation" to DH to convince him to go back to Disney in February. I really want it to be as affordable as possible. (I can always accidently extend the budget later ;) ).
so here's the specifics;

5 people; me, DH, DS-18, DS-14, DS-12. POR would be our best option. Yes, our little one fits fine with extra room on the trundle.

Annual passes for all (I think the way vacations run we will be able to use them next Feb. too before they expire).
Or other passes that may work out to be cheap cheap.

Maybe passes to universal too.

LTT a must as well as 50's and whispering canyon.

Will arrive on the 25th of Feb and leave on the 5th of March. (8 nights lodging).

I know staying offsite would considerably cut down our budget, but thats just soooo hard for us to do! LOL
Unless its a great rate at a DTD hotel. That we would do. (I think) LOL

So all you smart minded, budget conscious, got to get to Disney somehow people give me your best budget!

Thanks :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Have you considered renting a house offsite for the week? Some of them can be very cheap, of course you'd have to rent a car. I know you said not offsite, but I think you can really save some $$ that way.

Another way to save money is to only eat 2 sit down meals a day. Whichever meal you feel is not your most important one, have something light. For us, we did breakfast in the room each morning, eating pastry and cereal we broght with us. Saved us quite a bit. Then we had big lunches & nice dinners.

I looked into renting a house last time we went and hubby nixed it. He's funny that way. He's the one that insists on staying on-site! LOL
We always eat breakfast in the room too.

Oh yeah....we'll be driving too.

However, the more I think about it we'll probably be driving to the parks since its easier for me. I use an ECV and I really don't like using the buses so much. Last time I used the buses all the time and I didn't like it as much as just throwing the ECV into the car and going.
I suppose off-site could work out this time around actually.
Oh....I don't know.........:( :(

Last time I went, I stayed off site for the first time ever. We stayed in a time share condo that was a 10 minute drive from the MGM parking lot. (I timed it one day!)

I learned one thing - I LOVE having a car at WDW. It makes getting around so much faster & easier.

Of course, you could always look into the on sites. That is a moderate rate time of year and I bet if you stayed at a moderate or value it would not be too bad. :)

Check mousesavers too.
