.....is to help me find this type of lodging setup. Here's the situation.

players....me, DH DS-11, DS13, DS-17, Nephew-17, MIL.
MIL needs to have her own bedroom since she will not be staying up as late as us (plus the kids drive her nuts.....this will be fun!).

So here's what I'm thinking. Perhaps a one bedroom suite with a pull out sofa and a connecting standard room with 2 beds. With a suite she would have her own room and most will then have a fridge and maybe microwave.

We have 2 rooms at ASMO, but that's not going to work anymore so now onto plan B. (But I still have the ressie just in case....) I need to keep expenses down somewhat. My 2 rooms right now total $1250. I've seen some great deals on properties off-site but I know NOTHING!!! (to be read in Sgt Shultz voice)

I'm thinking the DTD area would be a good area since the older boys could walk over there in the evening and that's pretty close to the crossroads area too. (right?)

The only real amenities we would need would be an onsite restaurant, pool and arcade. If we can't get a place with a fridge included , then being able to rent one would be helpful. Also which DTD hotels have the character breakfast? Can you still charge to your room?

A few places I can get fairly cheap on priceline or hotwire (but that scares me) is Holiday Inn Niki Bird, LaQuinta Lakeside for like $20 a night. 3 rooms there could work, but it's not DTD area.

Please help!!! I'm going nuts and I ahve 15 days left to make my changes!!!!! AAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH (insert smilie pulling out hair here)

Thanks so much!!!!!
Sorry about the long post Pop Daddy!!! ;)

Have you looked on the DVC rent/trade boards? Possibly you could try for a two bedroom at OKW.

It'll be too expensive unless someone gives my one heck of a deal!!!!

actually the room was $59.00 with tax then, but you would have to call for current prices.

I'm confused...what room? LOL

Check out the Orlando area section here for some more suggestions, but at

www.hotelkingdom.com they have 3 bedroom villas for 89.00 at Cypress pointe grand villas.

It is sold out for my time frame. I wish I could get that place!!!!

Cypress Pointe--3 bedroom unit goes for less than $90.00 per night... check out www.hotelkingdom.com We used hotelkingdom 3 times and never had a problem. Have stayed at CP twice and no problems. It is one mile from Downtown Disney on 535 and less than a ten minute drive to MK (depending on lights).

Bedroom/bathroom setup :

Master: you and DH (complete with jacuzzi tub, shower double sinks, etc. tv and access to the screened in porch/balcony)

2nd bedroom: 2 twin beds, one is a trundle bed so COULD sleep 3.
2nd FULL bathroom in the hall

3rd bedroom: lockout unit (but has access through the main unit) king bed, Full private bath, another tv, smaller screened in porch.balcony. Lots of floor space for air mattress if needed.

living room: pull out sofa---big screen tv, leads to same screened in porch as the master bedroom. (You could also move some chairs and or the dining room table and put an air mattress out here)

And I know you said it doesn't matter but full kitchen. Winn Dixie right up the road (less than two minutes)

Resort has pools, game room, basketball court, etc. My DS (now 18--stayed when he was 10 and 16) loved this place.

DH & I were just there MLK weekend in a 2 bedroom. It was great to have the room.

Sorry--I was posting same time as others.
If you go to the Orlando Board some people over there have had great luck with skyauction.

OK...I think now I am just going to throw in the towel and just book 2 rooms at DTD. I think that'll be the best. So...which resort? I'll be booking 2 rooms....MIL will have to deal with it or get her own room (still an option)
Do any inlclude breakfast? Who has a fridge. I was looking at Grosvenor. They have a fridge included and offer a character breakfast, does anyone know who appears and how much it is?
I think I can pick that up on priceline kinda cheap. The other ones thru priceline is BW Lake Buena Vista and the HI.
Thoughts????

Please tho...if you have other suggestions then what I am doing...please let me know!
