Your mental image of different DIS members!

I have certain mental images of different DISers! For instance off the top of my head:

Robinrs seems like the nicest, sweetest person...many of her posts always seem to have "words of wisdom" for others.

Virgo10 is our resident animal lover and activist! I think her compassion for animals is awesome!

Dan Murphy seems like a guy you'd be proud to call a member of your family...a patriarch of sorts! His pictures are wonderful too!

EsmeraldaX seems like such a free spirit~ one of those cool, easy-going people who looks at the glass as half full, no matter what the situation!

And of course, no morning would be complete without a Good Morning from Serena!!

There are many more that come to mind...but I thought I'd ask you what image comes to mind when you think of different DIS'ers!

I sometimes WISH I were half the person I portray here! And I honestly wish those "words" were MINE!

My mental images of most people on this board are based on their signatures! For years I saw nativetxn as a dancing Daisy Duck! I have been so WRONG most of the time I try NOT to picture them, but it's hard not to!

I always think of wm Pete at 'that man behind the curtain', pulling the levers, sometimes trying to scare people, but all and all, a good guy. Because of him, we have the DIS to enjoy, family.

And, Tracy, I too feel like this is family, I have it in my avatar area, yes, we are family. So many good people here (a few nuts, but all families have them too, LOL), so many friends made over the years, good memories.

And BTW, does patriarch mean 'old'? (J/k )

I never really visualize what people look like here, but rather admire everyones signatures...I must say that HollyJoy has the two cutest kids in the world!! They are absolutely adorable!!

There are also a few I have a mental image of just from their user names...I think her name is something like phisenuf but for some reason I keep thinking horse nut, picturing an equestrarian (sp?). I also picture Mrs Potts from Beauty and the Beast when I see ~Belle 2003~. I picture Pop Daddy in a fedora and a mafia suit... . I picture the whole Beatty Family gathered around the computer, not just one! LOL! Oh ya, and Serena...I picture you opening the front door inviting the neighborhood in for morning coffee!

I guess there are impressions you get from a user name, and impressions you get from the actual posts/person themselves!
