Ok, so I know we all talk about our Favorites at DL. We have lots of favorites and it's hard to choose just one favorite ride / favorite attraction / favorite restaurant. Well to make it even HARDER, I want to hear about everyone's LEAST FAVORITE in these 3 categories.

After talking to our family, here are our answers.

RIDE: Jungle Cruise
Reasons: same stale jokes everytime. Used to like it when the CMs could say their own jokes and not stick to the script.

ATTRACTION: Innovations
Reasons: Reminded me of a cheap trade show. I DJ and was highly dissapointed to see Pioneers Flagship DVJ digital video turntables hooked up improperly. (No mixer, no 2nd player, wrong wrong wrong ). This is a $3000 player (you need 2 so $6k), and I really doubt they are going to sell any the way it was setup, you couldn't even do 10% of what that machine was made to do.

RESTAURANT- I forget the name but its in New Orleans and serves the mint Juleps. Food tasted horrible and the the mint Juleps tasted like scope mouthwash mixed with Windex.

Ok well that was a lot of negative so I'll throw in some favorites to negate the negative.

Favorite ride - Splash Mountain
Attraction - Fireworks
Restaurant - Bengal BBQ

Ok now YOUR turn!

Ride: Jumpin' Jellyfish

Attraction: HISTA

Restaurant: Burger Invasion

OK, I went once but the ride that sticks in my mind ( maybe for little kids it is good0 he storybook ride, I don't even remember it's name but you go in a little boat and see miniture house ect. well you all know what I mean, that i will never go on again and waste my time.
Food, I can't say I ate anywhere that I didn't like, it was all good :)

Ride: Sunwheel (pure evil)

Attraction: Princess Fantasy Faire Theatre (I'm going to steal DaddyB's acronym idea and just call it PFFT!)

Restaurant: Village Haus (only good for hot chocolate)

Favorites:

Ride: Splash Mountain

Attraction: DEP and RDTC Fireworks

Restaurant: White Water Snacks or Storytellers

ITA! The Sun Wheel is the only ride I've told my family I will NEVER go on again!:) Too long to load, and just too....scary! Amazing I will admit that when I'll gladly go on Screamin' and all the other big ticket attractions.
I guess that's DCA, so in DL itself, I would have to say... most of the Fantasyland rides. Again, usually too long to wait, too congested in that area...

It just feels wrong to admit there are things we don't like about DL, though doesn't it? I almost feel traitorous! :hippie:

My sentiments, exactly!:thumbsup2

Least favorite ride: Although I haven't ridden it yet, (and never will), the Sun Wheel. I hate Ferris Wheels. I always feel like I'm going to fall out. :scared:

Least favorite attraction: Innoventions. Boring...although I might take a peek at the dancing robot.

Least favorite restaurant: BB...sorry people, but DH and I just don't like the food... ...however, the atmosphere can't be beat.

Favorite ride: Soarin'. I plan on riding this one at least a dozen times. :yay:

Favorite attraction: Fantasmic

Favorite restaurant: Not exactly a restaurant, but any Churro stand will get our attention. ;)

Another vote for the Sun Wheel. NEVER again!

The Sun Wheel was TERRIFYING but at least it gives us a big laugh when we look back on it.

My least favorite ride is the Storybook Land Canal Boats. I have to say... I'm not sure it's for humans. :confused3

My least favorite attraction is Innoventions. I could not believe a guy would get up in front of a group of people and explain to them the wave of the future.. the PDA. I reached mine out of my pocket and was like.. like this one?

I haven't eaten anywhere bad yet.. Wait, does Storyteller's Cafe in GCH count? I didn't like it.. It was like $26.99 for honest-to-god.. a KFC buffet + desserts.

Least favorite ride: Star Tours. It was really cool when it first came out, but it is time for a major overhaul or a replacement.

Least favorite attraction: Don't really have one, I just don't go to anything that doesn't interest me.

Least favorite Resurant: The place in NO square that sells gumbo and clam chowder in bread bowls. The gumbo is no were near as good as the jazz kitchen in DTD and the clam chowder is way better in DCA.

I am another one that HATES Ferris Wheels. I ALWAYS feel like I am falling every time they stop and then start the stupid thing. And FORGET about riding in the cars that sway. FORGET ABOUT IT! I don't mind them if it would just slowly go around but it is when they jerk to a stop and start. NO THANK YOU!!!!!. Not to mention at our state fair last year I was in one of the typical ones where you are just sitting there with the stupid little bar across your lap and the thing broke. I was in shorts and a t-shirt and it was windy and getting cold and I was freezing and stuck at the VERY top of course with my daughter and it was broke for a LONG time. I was FREAKING out. I could just picture the fire dept having to bring in a ladder to get us down. I kept screamind down to the guy GET ME OFF THIS THING NOW! It is pretty bad when my 6 year old had to tell me to calm down mom it will be ok LOL! The operator had to literally pull the thing around himself and then when he finally did he passed us up and we had to go around AGAIN!!! UGH. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Anyway there are quite a few attractions that I am tired of. I don't really like the HISTA and I have never bothered to go to Innoventions. We were going to check it out this trip but now I am thinking maybe we should skip it. I knew there was a reason I never wasted my time. I figured it was probably as boring as the one at Epcot.

And let's see restaurants, I am not crazy about French Market or the restaurant on Main street on the left going into Tomorrowland (forgot the name) Plaza Inn? Honestly none of them really are GREAT to me.

As far as my FAVS I would have to say my all time fav is ToT and Splash

Fav attraction was the Dreams Come True Fireworks and Fantasmic esp from the balcony

and Fav restaurant is Blue Bayou water seating (Monte Cristo) and we love Cafe Orleans.

Oh and I have to save I really love the Storybook Land Boats but I love them cuz I think they are quaint and I have a really neat memory. I was on them once at night and they have all the lights on and they stopped the boat cuz the fireworks started and we got to sit in the boat and there was a full moon over the matterhorn and watch the fireworks over the matterhorn. It was the coolest thing EVER. Plus I just think it is a relaxing neat little ride.

I like preety much most of the rides for various different corny reasons. Most rides hold some fond memory from my childhood or my kids love them. Probably the only rides we never really do anymore are dumbo or casey Jr. We haven't done the canoes but we are going to do them this time and we very rarely ride the boats but we will probably do them this time as well.

There are a lot more rides at DCA that I could care less about like the stuff around Paradies Pier!

Least Favorite:

RIDE: I have never rode in the SunWheel, and after reading the posts on this board, may NEVER ride the "pure evil" device (the barf bags were a pretty good convincer to avoid it). So my vote goes to the Orange Stinger. I know, this is a strange choice, but every time I ride it, I slowly start slipping down in the seat and can't seem to be able to maneuver back (and start gyro'ing the ride with my shifting) and by the end of the ride, I am all discombobulated. I just know that one of these times they will find me at the end of the ride holding on by my neck alone with my teeth clamped onto the chain.

ATTRACTION: Main Street Cinema. Too loud with those shrill cartoon voices blasting in your brain.

EATS: I can't recall having a bad meal at the parks.

My Least favorite rides: Mr Toad's Wild Ride and the Matterhorn (too jerky and I got a big bruise on my back)

My son's least favorite: Indy-too jerky for him and scared the daylights out of him-it was the only ride he was scared of.

My faves: Haunted Mansion, Buzz, Small World

Son's faves: Buzz, Space Mountain

I LOOOVE the Storybook Boats too, and have sworn to my family that when we get our own place, it has to have enough acreage for me to install my own Storybook Boats. I'm gonna do it!

Least favorite ride in DL - Astro Orbiter...induces anxiety attacks and I feel as if I'm going to fall out. My son loves it. Also do not like the Matterhorn. It hurts! I swear I can feel my brain moving in my head.

Least fav attraction - Princess stuff

Least fav restuarant - Blue Bayou...sorry folks, we love the atmosphere but have had too many really poor meals and service here.

Least fav ride in DCA - Mighty SunWheel of Terror - only time in moving car I spent the whole time singing "Row, Row Your Boat" with my legs outstretched on either side of my son who was sitting opposite me. I am not usually a smoker in the Parks, but found a section fast after kissing the ground. God, I'll never forget the shaking.

Favorites...We love StorybookLand, especially at Christmas. Also love the Main Street Cinema - never miss it.
Have to have Mickey Mouse pancakes at the River Belle in the morning and we also love the relaxing atmosphere at the Hungry Bear - way in the back and feed the ducks. And don't get me started on the humongous snickerdoodles at Pooh's Corner.

Soarin is my absolute favorite.

My least favorite rides were the Haunted Mansion (not scary, kinda dull) and It's a Small World (THAT SONG! THAT HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SONG!!!)

Least fav ride: Astro Orbitor - Technically, it shouldn't be any different from Dumbo, right? And I love Dumbo! But AO is smaller and makes a tighter circle when it goes around. Last time, I came off it dizzy and nauseous! I will continue to go on Dumbo, though!

Attraction: Haven't tried Innoventions yet and my 12 year old wants to see it next month. That might become a new least favorite based on what I've read here.

Food: Nothing stands out as being bad. I love the clam chowder bowls at DCA but wish they came with a side salad like the ones at DL. You need something cool and crunchy to go with hot soup!

For all you Sun Wheel haters, give the stationary cars a try. You can still go up high and see the view without the puke-inducing swinging. The first time on a swinging car, my sister was with us. I don't know why she went since changing her mind too fast makes her nauseous! She sat there with her hand over her mouth the whole time trying to keep from losing it. I was so worried about her everytime the car swung that I wasn't aware of it bothering me. The 2nd time, we didn't have her with us and I got to sit and enjoy the ride. NOT! I started feeling rather pukey myself and couldn't wait to get off of there! The next trip, I rode a stationary car by myself (on my 40th birthday) while DH took the boys on a swinger. I called my sister from the top to tell her I was on the puke wheel! The next ride, my oldest had switched to the stationary car with me. Next month, my sister, my oldest son and I will ride a stationary car. My DH and younger son are the only remaining daredevils and they'll ride a swinger. My parents will be content to watch from ground level!

Least Favorite ride - The teacups - definitely!!! Can't even 'watch' someone ride them without getting a little
Least fav attraction - Honey I shrunk the audience....
